Dope, gents. Really good. Liked the jujitsu segment as well - even tho, I still will not do it as I've tried and really did not like it. Wasn't for me what so ever.

I'm aware a pod cast typically runs about an HOUR. Last one was 30 minutes, didn't expect more but was cool man.

A little drawn out but formatted well. I really enjoyed it, tho - not much I can say other then that. I honestly thought the Interview would be boring going in to that segment but was actually impressed at how well it went. So props to both @veritas and @Diode for that.

i told veritas someone needed to normalize as he had his on speaker and mine was on a cell. i think he'll go direct to headset for future ones so they should sound better.

I Boxed and continue to train (Not as much as I'd like but yea... 3 Kids will do that lol). So that isn't the issue.

I think in all honesty it's homophobia of being in a close quartered environment with another man as well as minor case of claustrophobia.

It stems from High School wrestling. I attempted it and did not like it. Then went on and studied Jeet Kune Do for a bit then Tae Kwon Do till becoming a deputy. My oldest son was born and had to stop but continued to train in boxing occasionally from the 4 to 5 days a week to now only 3 days a week with my 13 year old and 8 year old. Tried the Gracey acadamey with my 13 year old who's still doing it (And has been for 2 years now) but just wasn't for me.

Not at all. It's more of an inner demon/phobia. It's a challenges I'd have to face 1st, like I said. And at that point, I'm already mentally defeated. You of all people should know how healthy you need to be mentally in order to compete. Anyone who's competed in combat sports knows this. Mental health is key as well as conditioning/physical.

If you go in to something battling yourself, the battle against yourself becomes worsened once you throw a 3rd party. It's basically 2 on 1 at this point.

Who said anything about competing? Gym rolls are not competition.

You're right. But to me, sparring is considered competing.

You are matching up with your peers of the same level/caliber from a gym perspective or amateur level or even professional. To me sparring is competition of skill.

Not sure what you consider rolling with your peers? Practice? IDK... To me that's competing but I"m not knowledgeable in that jujitsu terminology as you are or my 13 year old lol... He does love it, tho. It's also helped him with wrestling as he's last seasons section 9 & state champ for his school district in his weight class. Proud dad moment lol.
