Inno and I are gonna do a like prequel episode 0 Friday for about 30-40 minutes to work out the technical stuff for next weeks first real one.

I saw some ideas in the other thread, but more people volunteering than anything. What are things you guys would like to see in the first few episodes/experimental things to try out in the episode 0 test bit?

This one will be more NC centric since it’s just a test really. But anything you’d like to hear ua discuss? Anyone want to be a test guest?

I’m thinking of trying to involve the NC culture in an artistic way and not as much discussion so we can grow to help each other out with real shit related to the arts and not trolling. Beat or music showcase of some sort. Any other forms of art we could highlight in a podcast format? Maybe get OM dudes to do like poetry slam format readings of dope verses?

but yea don't talk about the ghost of textmas past or the history of trolling. bags was actually good on the one i (partially) heard but he seemed a bit stuck between the extremes of personality v and huth presented (who didn't work together).

it's probably far too niche a thing to begin with, rap forums, but pushing toward the more creative side of things makes sense.

no one will appreciate it (writing barely gets fed, audio is ignored, readings are rare, beats are cool but is there a producer here other than uhoh?) and it will die within five episodes, but good luck.

Those things are ignored because we’ve fed each other a thousand times and care more about being heard than hearing. Which is exactly why we should be working with each other for a wider audience. But yeah the last one I think was them getting bored of it, probably because it wasn’t structured and they had recording/connectivity issues etc.

causally, stuff gets ignored because people are more interested in being heard than hearing. nobody listens - i'm aware of this and struggle myself with it.

if genuine zeal overran any self-serving narcissism, maybe this collective push could be successful. but i find creative communities very disingenuous.

also, don't make it 3 hours.

Talk about new music you’ve stumbled across, maybe play a snippet to give the listeners a taste of what you’re fw at the moment. Make it a segment?

Cover topics such as any major news stories and give your personal insight about it, talk about any hip hop news that you deem worthy.

Crack on other members for wack threads but in a lighthearted way I mean it’s all jokes around here

Maybe get a little personal with yourself and talk about things happening in your life.

Maybe pick a OM verse, or battle that stood out to you and shine light on it if it’s not getting recognized like you feel that it should.

Share your views on any upcoming battles, or tournaments.

Maybe have cheyaaa or whatever his name is do a conspiracy theory segment?

Also, if possible bring in a guest from another site. One of their top tier people or whatever lol get a viewpoint from someone on another site. Could be refreshing to hear a different voice within the community that isn’t the same ol boarders we all know here. Maybe ask why they choose that site over this one.
