Here it is, the Q & A you’ve all been waiting for. There’s a lot of different options throughout the site and in th real world when it comes to law enforcement. I’m here to give you inside knowledge and answer questions that many LEO’s wouldn’t dare answer if you were to ask them.

What goes on within a police dept?

Favoritism? Corruption? Politics? Unjustified incidents? Justified incidents?

Do we use stereo types in order to catch offenders? Do we profile, racially, sexually?

Now of course, I cannot speak for the entire profession. But I’ve had my fair share of experiences and run ins with a lot of different officers in order to give you all a pretty good run down and Q/A sesh on whatever it is you’re looking for.

My goal is to hopefully help some of you all see police in a new light (new light?).

The media, social media, news etc hoe ever you want to call it really gives us a bad name, they don’t show the good. They show the bad.

Personally I treat everybody with dignity & respect, fair, and just.

But no everyone isn’t treated equally regardless of color or race.

Over here it’s more of profiling cars and “which one isn’t like the others” type philosophy.

Monte Carlo with blacked out windows driving around an upscale community at 3am is getting pulled over as soon as I have a pretext, so as soon as they hit 35 in a 30 or they fail to use their turning signal, it’s time.

And 8 times out of 10 who’s in this vehicle? A crew of blacks, with some stolen property and drugs etc.

Like i said, I can’t speak for all, but judging by what you said, you’ve either been in trouble with the police before which will obviously cause you to hate them, or you’ve had family or friends get in trouble.

Our job is to make the unpopular decision, obviously. But at the end of the day we aren’t out to ruin lives because we’re on some sort of power trip (but yes there are some that do), we’re just doing what we signed up to do.

If I catch my old friend from high school with kilos of coke he’s going away sad to say, at that point it’s Covering your own ass, wtf kind of cop would let him slide on that?

Now if I catch that same friend going 55 in a 45 I’m more inclined to use discretion and tell him to slow down and go about my day.

It’s simple really, if you’re breaking the law you have to be prepared for the possibilities lol.

When I pull someone over and they have your mindset of fuck the po’leece free my nigga quan, I try and make them understand, usually to no avail.

No, the possibilities. Repercussions and consequences are possibilities, but so are warnings and compromises. You’re not always gonna get in trouble for breaking th law. And Not all laws are enforced

Quota’s are illegal. A SGT can’t tell his officers they need to write 30 tickets by the end of the month because we have to meet a quota lol there’s no such thing and this is a huge misconception.

Now, a SGT can tell his officers that they aren’t writing enough tickets and they need to write more, but at the end of the day your job isn’t to write tickets, or a certain amount, we aren’t parking enforcement.

Personally, I’m gonna gig her on it the same as I would a guy.

That's what all the surcharge and court fees are for. Isn't that considered revenue for the city/town?

Town/city supervisor can go to law enforcement and ask them to patrol and crack down on w/e like speeding for an example to raise revenue.

Tickets do generate revenue like you said, and it sometimes is encouraged to write more tickets, but there’s no quota and it’s illegal for an officer to be told he has to write 11 more tickets within the next three days.

You can tell a particular officer that his numbers are low (cop jargon) and he needs to start producing, but you can’t give him or her a specific number.

Technically by law you don't have to answer to the police officer.

You do not have to answer their questions, they must answer yours actually.

Like asking why they pulled you over. That is the only conversation you should have with them. Anything else is irrelevant.

They typically ask all sorts of questions fishing for information to use against you or claim they had probably cause.
