on my life I started to write that same post looooooooool

my church has an ongoing minimalist project where they will take stuff that you drop off from de-cluttering and give it to people who need it like strikta and shit

its also open where you can go down an grab stuff you want too....pretty cool...I find some dece books down there from time to time

we also have a blessings box outside the church where people can either put food into it or take food out of it at their own discretion....its awesome to see how busy it gets ( I live next door)

its a little bit more new age type stuff...we worship satan mostly but sometimes we inflict harm to children and peddle narcotics to the lower class districts of the city. its really been helping me to realize who I am spiritually.

my living room has been empty since i moved in lol. i bought a couch, tv, and coffee table, but put them in my computer room/studio/office area. I basically furnished the entire upstairs to a point just pre- going overboard. i hooked my pops up with the basement, got it fully furnished for him, set the laundry room/bathroom up as well, like built a custom shower enclosure and shit.

but my living room is empty. so while i want to say im a minimalist, im sitting here in my computer room looking at a bunch of random nonsense. books/records/games/electronics

You have to do it right. Just decluttering isn't part of the lifestyle.

Things need to be very good quality to make sense for having less things out and in use. Multi use high end electronics and appliances with modern yet comfy furniture. I personally can't maintain it but try every 6 months.

so these terms are basically synonymous with OCD?

Manufactured OCD. OCD as a disorder is much more than minimalism. But basically what cretins like you consider OCD yeah.
