Good music

I need hook ups on obscure rock albums, like folk rock, hard rock ect.. From the 60s to 80s.. maybe SOME early 90s shit too.

Need hook ups on classic hip hop shit as well. Timeless albums is kinda what I'm looking for. I can't think right now so any help is appreciated.

I need to zone out to some beautiful shit... oblige me.

I don't know what constitutes obscure, but here are some of my favorite rock/folk/indie pop albums from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s that you wouldn't hear on classic rock radio:

Leonard Cohen, Songs of Leonard Cohen (1967)
Van Morrison, Astral Weeks (1968)
The Velvet Underground, White Light/White Heat (1968)
Nick Drake, Five Leaves Left (1969)
The Stooges, The Stooges (1969)
Velvet Underground, The Velvet Underground (1969)

Neil Young, On the Beach (1974)
Neil Young, Tonight’s the Night (1975)
David Bowie, Station to Station (1976)
Modern Lovers, Modern Lovers (1976)
Television, Marquee Moon (1977)
Wire, Pink Flag (1977)
Iggy Pop, The Idiot (1977)
Talking Heads, Fear of Music (1979)
Joy Division, Unknown Pleasures (1979)

Joy Division, Closer (1980)
The Feelies, Crazy Rhythms (1980)
The dB’s, Stands for Decibels (1981)
The Jesus and Mary Chain, Psychocandy (1984)
Tom Waits, Rain Dogs (1985)
The Smiths, The Queen is Dead (1986)
Sonic Youth, Evol (1986)
Sonic Youth, Daydream Nation (1988)

I got some hash oil from my uncle & he got me in tune w/ my caucaz side. Drinking Rolling Rocks n smokin dabs all fuckin day got me zooted.

These hippies cool af man.

Tired of being a gutter ass ghetto pos.

I'm on my white trash pos tip right about now.. jammin Stones, Zep, & Terry Ried at this bonfire/cookout bout to get my dick sucked by this snaggletoof goofy lookin ho. Lol

Nothing wrong w/ me pimpin.

uh-oh 09-09-2016 09:52 PM

gotta fuck with white dudes with soul bro

fuck with the allman brothers. anything duane allman played on in particular

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTFvAvsHC_Y

i'm not good with remembering rock groups honestly. i dig through everything but soul sticks more in my memory as far as names go and i could recommend a bunch of dope soul/r'n'b shit from back in the day.

rock wise all that comes to mind is the allman brothers, little feat, the good rats first album was dope. theres tons of shit man im not the guy though

i'm not too big on ROCK though i lean more towards blues and soul shit

uh-oh 09-09-2016 09:59 PM

i'm drunk and now this thread is where i'm gonna post vibing soul shit since its all popping up in my recommended for me on youtube lol

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RomJgCFUBbo

fire. leave the rock alone and just vibe with all of willie hutch's discography. then bill withers. then you could fuck with all the icons like stevie and al green and circle back witrh the isley bros back when they had jimi hendrix on the guitar and fuck with marvin and everyone else and know you've just scratched the surface

which is why its hard for me to get deep into rock. it doesn't strike my SPIRIT like old soul music.

I've never been huge into rock, but I always really liked Queens of the Stone Age. Rated R and Songs for the Deaf are both great albums. Might be outside what you're looking for era-wise, but you should check them out.

Certain 09-09-2016 10:31 PM

I expected @quaker oats to come in here recommending Opihi Pickers.
