Goodbye cruel world.

veritas 08-08-2016 10:32 PM

Copping tom.

THis would have been an acceptable reason for you to no show btw.

~RustyGunZ~ 08-08-2016 10:49 PM

El Muffin 08-08-2016 11:05 PM

Been mildly curious about this

What would the bulk of the gameplay be though

Navigating randomly spawned planets ...scanning for its lifeforms?

I need to check out some vids or something

Aero 08-09-2016 04:34 PM

So you'd be okay with coming home to find your wife in virtual reality mode with BBC gangbang?

i single 08-09-2016 04:36 PM

Lol

Blanco Bishop 08-09-2016 04:38 PM

U gotta be some really low self esteeming ass mothwrfucker to be jealous of some virtual reality. Lmao

PancakeBrah 08-09-2016 04:41 PM

No Man's Sky just seems like an existential meditation on the purpose of video games, or their point.

Aero 08-09-2016 04:41 PM

If I come home and my wife has virtual reality where she's being gangbanged it's going to raise some concerns. But man, you're a real secure dude I admire that.

GAME IS DOPE. You literally just fly around, upgrading your ship and your weapons, exploring and looting. Not much in the way of combat. Not much of a story. But the gameplay is ill. Procedurally generated without feeling extremely reptetive... and based on. their day one patch, Id bet theyre gonna keep updating the gameplay to make it well rounded

I wish theyd made space a little more varied... have some nebulas, some space super highways, larger variety of space station designs and random encounters

tbh this game shouldve been $30....

BUT let me say this-- the groundwork they laid is INCREDIBLE and the next game will be fucking killer. Next GTA series the way theyre gonna dominate sandblx gaming, no lie.

veritas 08-10-2016 08:14 AM

Where the frak do I find zinc!?

I both agree and disagree, but like Sean said, everyone's experience will be different. I started on a lush planet with very low health risks so I spent about 3 1/2 hours there working on learning alien languages and mining. Left the planet for the first time with over 150,000 credits. If you play the lore, there is lore to be had.

I agree that the aliens are super disappointing. Static and few and far between.

I have not had any of the repetition problems as some, but then again, I have only been to two planets. I am all about the space exploration and grinding aspect of this game (which is hilarious bc i hate it in other games), so this works for me.

veritas 08-10-2016 11:10 AM

This games actually causes to me wish I was galactus for a day.

I had a client session...before I left the crib I found the zinc. I just need some plutonium to power my warp drive. I am considering exploring planet more.

Did you choose to work for atlas?

i'm following atlas' guidance since it's effectively the tutorial.

i need to craft my warp drive still. too busy exploring.

i do have the preorder ship with the built in one and extra inventory slot but i've chosen not to activate it so i don't miss any training storylines.

i have also found a crashed ship i can repair on my home planet.

veritas 08-10-2016 11:28 AM

Aight bet. I am goin to choose hi guidance then.

May I as you a personal qustion?

Soooooo........are you mad about my verse? Was it too harsh?

Second: do you think we will ever respect each other?

uh-oh 08-10-2016 11:46 AM

This game sounds sufficiently boring and like something i could waste some time on. Is there an objective or is it more just open exploration for forever?

there is a plot and an overarching goal.

Your verse elicited no emotional response from me. Hence why I went to see Suicide Squad instead of responding. It's built around a fallacy you've invented because you have no weapons of substance readily available.

I named my first planet after my son, by the way.

No.

veritas 08-10-2016 12:39 PM

What is your son's name?

I named mine "jesusisgodmanifestintheflesh"

Sorry to hear that. You actually have taught me something about life. For real.

Just named a location. "Kevin Nash's quad pill depot"
