If you were even a few days late on this shit and don't play it obsessively I feel like you can never get competitive though... The gyms around my work have Charizards and Snorlaxs and all sort on like 2000+ CP. I'm only just approaching 1000 now :-/

Word I caught a pikachu. And he's like an 82. Never found another pikachu again and I go up and down that street everyday on purpose, the same street where I discovered this rat, and I've never even seen another one appear on my radar... It's so discouraging

But u can beat Pokemon that are higher if u know how to battle and who to battle with. although I can imagine how difficult it would be to battle a cp 2500 snorlax like how my gym next to me looks now. Luckily we boaf team blue tho!
