There is definitely a creator. A force and a consciousness behind existence. Biblical God? I believe does not exist just a form of control.

Sharp 04-25-2016 10:40 PM

Super facts.

I've always said there's no bearded white guy in the clouds but there is a creator. Some kind of supercomputer type intelligence we can't even come close to understanding. Like energy, vibrations and supreme mathematics.

But what do I know. Nothin

This thread has the potential to be a deep philosophical exploration into the minds of the urban culture youth and distinguished OG wiggers alike.

There are clearly GODS, the question is whether or not you believe in a creator, a higher power or a vice. Drugs are a God for a lot of peeps.

I mean yo, some people even think they are their own God and who am I to say that isn't true? Especially if they do things to showcase ways they worship themselves. Depends on how you define the shit.

For a minute on the lime, I thought Action Bronson was God. He was worshipped to the point of 47% of the board looking like him in pics.

Kurt Cobain and Purple Rain.

uh-oh 04-26-2016 12:15 PM

There is no need of a creator. As humans and living creatures to an extent we create. Therfore we prescribe our human way of doing things onto whatever higher power we believe in.

That skyscraper didnt grow there. We created it. That beehive didnt just appear, the bees created it. This thread didnt just come from nowhere, sharp made it. Since this is such a natural thing to us we believe something created the universe and the all, whether its biblical, spiritual, scientific or technological in the sense of a simulation, our puny brains try to compensate and make sense of it, but there is no sense to be made.

I dont believe in a creator. I dont believe in anything. Im agnostic because its the only thing that makes sense. To declare one way or the other is ridiculous.

oats 04-26-2016 12:20 PM

uh-oh da god just debunked this thread

Actually, I'd say you do believe in "something". I mean, the logic you showcased there clearly shows a thought pattern. You believe everything was created by us, but that we were not created. The anomaly in your logic is that we weren't "created". That would make us unique and without explanation, so it would take some form of faith to decide where we came from (I mean, still sounds supernatural, right?)

These discussions are generally unproductive because people are divided into religious nuts, hipsters, people who are angry at God/Christians and myself.

The one thing that we can probably all agree on is the power of our brains, we are extremely limited in our levels of understanding. I mean, ever heard anybody try to explain space to you? It's always expanding, right? Well then, what is it expanding into? What do you call the void that space expands onto and fills?

Eventually your mind will hit a brick wall. All of this I'm agnostic/vegan/transgender/atheist/fagnostic/an ass man/Pentecostal/etc is just hipster talk when you get right down to it. It's to the point where society has just basically become fanboys when it comes to everything.

Labels never fit me, yet ironically I'm easily labeled as un-label-able

lolololololololol

Plot 04-26-2016 02:44 PM

well its all stupid really, what your really debating about is starts and ends, when we have no evidence of such, only evidence of ongoingness, (just made a new word) And its really stupid if you make up a god then he has to be the maker and then you have to think about how it ends.... its just stupid.

Sharp 04-26-2016 02:50 PM

This thread is failing.

just to be clear, you're an agnostic atheist not an agnostic

agnosticism doesn't deal with belief, it deals with proof. you can believe in god and be agnostic. it just means that you acknowledge that there is no proving one way or the other.

being an atheist simply means you lack belief in god.

which would make you an agnostic atheist

Gina 04-26-2016 07:16 PM

I disagree UH-OH. There is no human somewhere in the clouds watching over us. However, the act of existence is the creator. When you completely count out the idea of there being a consciousness behind creation you leave out many important concepts. Like the fact that scientist agree they have no idea what an actual solid is. Everything we see is made up of minute matter so minute you couldnt see it with the naked eye. The force holding it together making it appear solid is a frequency. A vibration. Soundwaves. Only by illusion do we appear solid. I say that force holding us together is the creator.

And how about time. We are living in the past and future as time runs constantly in all directions all at once. We believe time is measured in days and nights but what about on other planets where days and nights are different. Where a day in one planet is 10, 15, 20 years here. Theres too much magic in the universe for there to be no higher consciousness.

Furthermore, deja vu, telekenesis, these are explained by SCIENTIST by there being ONE consciousnesses. We all come from the same consciousness and return upon death. As even these quantum sciences are debatable I would say it is all just theory, at the same time I find it impossible to believe in NOTHING. Do I think we need a savior? Not at all, I believe we have the choice to fight for what we feel is right, or believe in strongly, or die trying. I believe we were created with the ability to survive or die and that is what freewill is.

SHECK WES 04-26-2016 07:41 PM

I'm a Catholic man and I believe in Jesus.

My girlfriend is trying to tell me she is a satanist and I'm mad.

uh-oh 04-26-2016 08:56 PM

i think the key problem is we don't understand definitions.

agnostic simply means you don't believe in god, or disbelieve in god, because there is no proof either way.

maybe my definition sucks. of god i mean, because the "god" i don't believe or disbelieve in is what you guys are deeming a creator.

when i hear creator, i think of a being of some sort, CREATING everything.

i'm saying to think everything had to be CREATED is a flaw in human thinking. we can't wrap our heads around the fact that things just, ARE. shit exists.

who knows why. since we can communicate, and be self conscience we get this giant ego where we figure out trivial things like gravity and laws of motions and all types of other shit that seem like these amazing scientific discoveries. but in the giant puddle of soup the universe lives in we are nothing.

we are the tiniest mote of dust in a sea of feces. we are as insignificant as our thoughts, and our understandings are thus insignificant as well.

so in summary, while we all try to make sense of the universe, from the lowliest dummies who believe in a god, to the highest of idiots who search out answers through science, in the major scheme of things we're all idiots on a rock catapulting through a space which will never be understood

godspeed

Gina 04-26-2016 09:22 PM

That I believe. When I say creator, I mean the act of existing. Awareness. I believe absolutely the universes eexistence has always been and this is a concept impossible for humans to fathom. But awareness is something else altogether. Humanity unless we have devolved which I believe living in the modern dimension we have. Which explains the biblical "fall of mankind". Other than that the only thing we know and can prove is we need, as human beings, Earth bound creatures, that we need to be produced. What is the force that caused creatures that could wonder about their place in the universe and question their creation, to come to be? Theres the question what comes first the chicken or the egg? Well it really doesnt matter, either way there is a science to that existence. The energy that moved time forward and caused the earth to produce such a being is OUR creator. There are so many unanswered questions in the universe, dark matter, time, black holes, even the actual orbiting of the earth is often changed.

With animals they take care of themselves and the land, but humans? What is their purpose? They are destructive. Proud. Envious. Greedy. What would be their purpose but to be aware? To experience and evolve through experience. I believe that force that I mentioned holds together our matter functions on a certain frequency (which can also be found in science) but my THEORY is if you function on a high frequency rather than a low vibration things will go more smoothly, more naturally. Lower frequencies having their own consequences and effects. If you play positive music to a plant or glass of water the molecules will change. "Frequency and vibration are essential to matter".

whether or not God exists is irrelevant, we are unable to discern whether he does or doesn't and to wonder about it is a waste of our time and an insult to his or her possible existence. to appreciate life with God is to appreciate life purely without God.

the book's descriptions:

"When Tuck Bingle receives and email explaining that he’s been nominated for science fiction literature’s most prestigious award, he’s left utterly confused. On one hand, Tuck is a successful writer of gay, science fiction erotic, but on the other, this email is addressed to someone by the name of Chuck Tingle.

Tuck replies, but his message is not delivered because the recipient exists in another layer of The Tingleverse, a revelation that will take Tuck on a journey into the deepest realms of his butt’s heart.

Soon, Tuck is breaking fourth-walls and anal limits, pounded hard by a handsome sentient Hugo Award nomination named Kelpo and learning the true meaning of homoerotic love!

This erotic tale is 4,500 words of sizzling human on prestigious award nomination action, including anal, blowjobs, rough sex, cream pies and gay interdimensional love."
