Not my type of shit but he went in. It makes sense now though why i dont like him/couldnt get into him. The beatmaker aspect. Kanye is probably the only rapper i ever dug that can make beats too lol. I didnt know krit made beats but it makes sense now in my senseless mind

Mr. J 03-28-2016 09:52 PM

LOOOOOL wut?

He raps about it nearly every song lool

Certain 03-28-2016 10:07 PM

Yeah, he's been making his own beats forever. J. Cole does the same. It's part of what holds them back from full-blown superstardom.

Also, @uh-oh, if you don't like Erick Sermon, that's worse than liking Donald Trump.

The Dead Poet 03-28-2016 10:20 PM

^ how does him making his own beats 'hold him back'?

KRIT releases a SHIT TON OF MUSIC....he usually gets out 2 mixtapes and an album a year. All of which is full of original material (beats included). He wouldn't be able to keep that pace with the cohesive feel he has with every project if he didn't do that.

The Dead Poet 03-28-2016 10:22 PM

by the way, that RR was probably the best one yet. The Organized Noise one was really dope too.

The Dead Poet 03-28-2016 10:25 PM

I didn't like 9th's too much at all either. I see all the fan boys saying his was dope as fuck...i didn't see it that way. Dude used shit thats' been done to death and didn't even flip them well.

Future releases more music with a more cohesive feel to it. The same is true for Young Thug.

If Big KRIT worked with the same kind of producers that ASAP Rocky or Kendrick Lamar works with, he could be a much bigger name and make more money.

The Dead Poet 03-28-2016 10:34 PM

Krit makes music that has a niche to it. He's making 90's dungeon fam/90's UGK music. The producers that are still doing that sort of music well is a failry short list. And it's even shorter when you consider KRIT is better than them all except like 1-2. His style is his style. There's no artist out there popping more than he is that is using the country rap tunes style.

Ghost1 03-28-2016 10:46 PM

How the fuck can u nkt kno this?

Especially u of all people lol

Word i knew j cole did. I like some of his beats. I liked his first or second tape but he never grew from there.

Also im pretty sure i posted on here that "music" by erixk sermon is a top 10 all time track in my book lol so my theory is falling apart.

But on the whole dides who make beats are uninteresting boring turds

Also i dont like trump you nerds.

I listened to that a few weeks ago and was so bummed out. But maybe if he worked with Big KRIT he could get inspired and bring back that Mississippi: The Album sound.

The Dead Poet 03-28-2016 11:01 PM

word. that uzi weighs a ton song they did last year was jamming too.

you up on any bama hip hop? That's what I find myself mostly listening to now in days

One of em was cool. he made a couple but had his irrelevant chick artist rhyme over the one i liked lol. But word the one was played out.

I liked just blazes best from my memory. Id have to watch them all again i just remember his was the only one where i was like word thats a dope beat. I thought this one was solid too, justs was more my preference

For the past year I've been saying imagine an album with Banner, KRIT, and Killer Mike. They can call themselves Three Kingz or some shit and save hiphop.

Ghost1 03-29-2016 02:57 PM

David banner just dropped the most racist mixtape of the year a few weeks ago lol. Shit slap tho.
