would u guys lose ur minds if I said I favored supreme clientelle to the purple tape?
Cuz I think I am this person.
How do u all feel about me knowing this? |
wait, what's weird about this? did you switch the order of what you meant?
|
Who sings it?

I like supreme clientelle better Usually wen I hear people mention Cuban linx they treat it like the holy grail |
supreme clientele goes hard
It's my favorite ghost album |
I like both. Not even sure I could choose which one I like better.
but of wu solo albums, my fav is liquid swords so whatev |
They're both great. Only Built 4 Cuban Linx's flaw is all those damn skits (and a little too much Cappadonna).

Hell nah. Supreme clientele is my favorite Wu solo album, ahead of ob4cl, tidal and liquid swords. Nothing crazy bout that imo.

Word word thought I was goin against the grain on this one
Thinking that I may be inclined to agree w Kenny an say this is my fav wu solo album Do people rate Tical 2000 high? Cuz that shit is crazy dope to me too |
Its a smooth album but I will always have Liquid Swords over most Wu cuts..
although Verbal Intercourse is a track that's always inspiring |
Yea people rate liquid swords crazy high too.......which I'm not entirely sure I agree w either
|
no doubt
4th chamber and shadowboxing are dope but a lot of it is just meh |
I honestly thought this was general consensus.
|
The best songs on liquid swords are better than most everything else solo in wuniverse but overall a lot of the songs kind of suck/don't hit the same level
|
Also no love for uncontrolled substance?
|
Liquid Swords is my third-favorite rap album ever.

Weird maybe we don't ever talk about wu here enuff
But back to my other question How does every feel about Tical 2000? |
Tical 2000 is incredible. Such a slept on album. Dangerous Ground and Judgement Day are two of my fave Wu songs ever.
I would rank wu solo albums as OB4CL Supreme Clientele Return to the 36 Chambers Iron Man Tical 2000 Cappadonna - The Pillage Liquid Swords is good but not above those for me. never was into Gza |
to be fair, I haven't listened to OB4CL in some time now, but for me it was always between Supreme Clientele and Liquid Swords. Tical is dope, though.
I think this weekend has some Wu in order, now. |
Ghost has always been my favorite Wu member though...
Gza has his moments, I really enjoyed that Grandmasters album... Fishscale is probably my favorite Ghost album though... |
Love fishscale. Supreme clientelle is leagues beyond it tho.
An Yea word to the oatmeal. Gonna prolly give liquid swords a spin today an see how I feel. |
Would you guys lose your minds if i told you i never got into any ofthe wu solo albums?
Literally the first one i liked was 4:21 the day after. I just never listened to them until way later, and by then i heard every rapper in the world tear apart the best beats from each album (liquid swords etc) so when i did get around to listening to them it was like yea this is cool but i missed it. Also i never really liked ghost outside of a verse hear and there. Blasphemy i know but its truth. Just never hot home with me. I like him more as a person then an artist lol |
Yes. That has actually caused me to slip into advanced stages of dimentia.
Wtf is wrong w u? |
WHAT ISNT?
FUCK U |
Lol but nah i fuck with odbs shit so i guess im lying. But yea the wu never hit home outside of 36 chambers and a few random songs. That meth shit with mary j blige etc.
When they were doing it i fucked with pac and snoop and then later on it was no limit cash money etc lol I grew up without the net till i was like 16 so i was inundated with whatever made it to ne ohio. Wu was in the conscienceness but not must listen and have status. Not enough white people here i guess |
Well that's enuff uh oh for this morning
Logs off |
I still don't understand Pacs appeal sure a few songs were cool but the rest just had feature after feature after feature ..
regardless I feel every Wu member has created their own fanbase its just like a comic book character. you like their skills & what they bring to the table. Gza has a complexity to him that most people can enjoy Ghost has that real/poetic side can make some good music Rae was slick & more street, ODB & Meth were basically the same at least in my mind its all based on preference... |
Ghostface Killah's best shit is just raw fucking rip-your-head-off energy.
