I think you are downplaying your own potential. Don't be afraid and let it out.
And no one is more worthy or unworthy. |
i'm looking forward to that. you got it.
|
@asylum Tom is dagel, and I'm sure the general population wouldn't want him involved and would prolly sign out to avoid being in the same league as him.
|
does he show?

This is just one of a myriad examples but your sweeping generalizations are glib and don't always work bro. I love you though. |
Hey, I think you're quoting me out of context. Jesodist stated there are more worthy adversaries, and I stated no one is more worthy or unworthy, in the context of his statement. As for the scenario you presented, there are more things at play to consider when viewing such scenario from an outsider's perspective. Yes, the one who commits rape probably has psychological issues among other things, but rape itself is one of the most extreme of examples that it is almost trite. One can summon the most unpleasant of scenarios for almost any argument and though it may seem reasonable, it is not. Not because it is not a quotidian occurrence, but because the example itself presents a quandary of morality and ethics attached to it that is socially unacceptable, so of course it is right by definition, but a half-attempt at fully engaging with what you disagree with and repelling it with a more suitable example; one not bound by righteousness or deemed evil by everyone at large. Please give a more encompassing example, so as to better refute the notion I presented.
And things to consider is that even who the girl chooses to sleep with has nothing to do with worth or worthlessness really, to her it will. But, it is just a manner of perspective and who knows perhaps the scum that took advantage of her, in another scenario could be her knight in shining armor and seduced her when she was in her right mind. There are cases, in the world, where sexually abused victims actually, unknowingly, marry their perpetrators. The twists that reality present are myriad and designations such as worth and worthlessness become mere social designations. While, yes the words have practical measures; someone that has never held a scalpel should not be doing surgery and so on, or a fool who doesn't understand economics, policy, etc should not be running a country But, given this day and age, we both know that people get into positions of power they aren't qualified for. In that respect, I agree with you, but from an ontological eye, we will always see things differently. |
I'd like to sign up for this
