There is a specific moment where my body chemistry and whiskey meets. Before that moment, I'm just drinking. After that moment I'm just drunk. But in that sweet spot. I'm warm and there is no thing. Just floating, with that body buzz, but it's personal. Writing things. You know everyone's felt it, but fuck, no one's felt it. Very good.

I think the perfect calibration is a bottle of wine. I've found that out, now.

My ideal is about eight gin and tonics over three hours, either while or after eating. That's when everything is right in the world. I'm almost never an angry drunk with gin and tonics.

3-4 good beers on an empty stomach and I'm cruising. As soon as I eat though I only want to go to bed. I'm an old man.

Oh an.....a couple straight whiskys an I'm good. I can't get fucked up like I used to......well I could.....an ate a rate that would put 95% of this site to shame honestly.....but the hangovers these days are so brutal. Not even just the head splitting headaches.......it's the depression and anxiety that cripples me......i can notice the depression days after I've drank even. Was never like that in my early 20s. Not worth it. Besides all the quality pussy is in the gym anyways.

I been on my bottles of wine as of late. Can't drink liquor anymore due to my inability to restrain myself..but half a bottle of wine puts me in a good place then a bowl or two of some good Sativa and I'm in a euphoric state..been dry as of late though

4-5 commercial beers (~4.5% ABV)
3-4 imperial stouts (~8-11.5% ABV)

A few beers and a shot or two of tequila gets me in a good mood. I get social, get sort of witty and I don't mind socializing with people I haven't talked to yet. Anything over that and I can get rather reserved and/or too attention seeking. I usually notice this and get back to being reserved though. Smoking gets me anti-social 8/10 times.

I'd say 4 regular sized beers (12 oz) on an empty stomach. Or 3 tall boys (16 oz) on an empty stomach.
