@Keyboard, if you're from LB you don't consider RULE to be #1. He's awesome on his best day but no one on LB says he's the best ever.
@puravida, username on LB or bullshit. I've beat RULE twice, in his first year of battling in 2009. I was able to annoy him with this cause I'm one of the few guys to ever beat him twice (which is a consequential thing more than a talent thing).

impossible to compare all time cuz styles and trends change, and lots of dope people are probably not well known on other sites.

That being said, Hens is an obvious GOAT, and Hush was probably my personal favorite back when he was consistently battling.

Rule is a nice guy but his reputation won him battles on LB when he started gathering momentum. I read his verses and there's no cohesion at all sometimes. It's dressed up like the punch is dope so people them think it's dope. Like I said though, he's a nice guy and good for text battling. @EtH is this a fair comment?

RULE WAS a solid battler. Me and him did a speed battle recently enough and although he probably won, he didn't get called out by loads of people on shit like EtH in a tee (Affinity) type wordplay.

But RULE is a legit grand champ over there and stuff, but yeah his reputation got him really far. On LB there have been a couple of guys, Mayneak being one of them, who were unbeatable at certain times due to their rep and following. That'd be impossible now since there aren't as many members but guys would get 30 people voting off the bat for them every time.

But yeah RULE's fairly good. He has a style that would probably translate pretty well on to these sites too. LB gets a bad rap because it's usually guys like me who come over to these sites and it's not like I was that good on there. A couple of guys would have translated quite well.

Sure why am I telling you, you had plenty of battles on LB to know this shite haha.

Diss has some dope concepts and I imagine he'd be a beast in this format but he sucked on LB. That shit where you have like 20 references to the punchline in the 3 lines previous. Just deliver the fucking punch, don't make me read back 20 minutes ago to remember a subtle little reference. Writing punches like topicals and shit haha. I had a line for him once I liked along the lines of "blah blah and beat this tard diss like Doctor Who's Plot".

I actually came across a Diss verse recently and realized I was a bit harsh on um a while ago. He's actually really good with his concepts.
