Hell I play RCR right online on a website I go to for playing old NES games, right thru Flash on the browser. The games save & everything... u can hook up ur own keyboard config & shit. It's dope as hell.

There's actually a few other NES joints I play from time to time on here... as where most niggas & bitches be playing lil games on FB to kill time ect... I'm on here fuckin w/ throwback Nintendo games on some boss shit.

They got other systems & games.. I can run most SNES & Genesis games thru my browser... but when it comes to the PS, PS2, N64, & Sega CD games... it's a no go... my laptob ain't supporting them shits. But I can play NES ones no prob.

I was fuckin w/ the Battletoads & Double Dragon yesterday tbh. Shit was dope.

Nes was technically before my time though i got off on the punch out as a youth.

My first system was a genesis. I fucked all the sonics up. Streets of rage and vectorman were also pivotal to my 6-8 year old self.

Earthbound is an rpg about a 4 kids, 3 of which of have psychic powers who are chosen to save the world

PERSONALLY, it's one of my favorite stories in gaming, tho it's slightly loose compared games like FF6 (or, you might know it as FF3?), or Chrono Trigger... but it's both dark and light hearted at the same time and the game is kinda silly and doesn't take itself super serious.

in terms of battle mechanics it's pretty basic rpg stuff.

your mileage may vary with it though

I had the super scope and got down with Battleclash.

FF7 FF8 and FF10 were the only final fantasies i could get into. Im sure 9 is dope too but i never got past the first disc and ive never really went back and tried

Chrono trigger was the only FF type game i played through when going back to snes. None of the others hit a chord with me

I wanna play FF12 too but the battle system was wack t ok me. I think my problem with 12 and 9 is ove gone back to try and play them so many times that ive played the first few hours of each game too much lol. Like ill get to like lvl 10 and lose interest. Try again a year later and never do it. Etc

9 was lame. All characters are terrible and the main boss is a faggot.

12 story was wack, but the monster bounty thing was pretty cool. The fights with the judges were serious too

If anything give 6 another chance. Good game to emulate on your phone. Solid af story. 5 is hella corny but is actually very difficult, fact of the day.

Nine is great. If 7 didn't have the nostalgic tint I'd rank 9 as the best of the PS1 FF's but it does so 7 ekes it out. You said you got through the first disc and stopped, though, and I think it peaks on Disc 1. It's great throughout, imo, but if you didn't enjoy disc one enough to continue on it probably isn't for you. And that makes you a terrible person, probably.

12 is just a MMORPG without the O. It has its qualities but the storyline and lead character are weak. The best part of the game, like most FF's, is the post-game grinding and boss battles. The mark superfights are pretty good. But you have to spend dozens and dozens of hours to get the best gear (random chance, getting multiple rare loots to create items that you need multiple of to synth the goal gear, etc.) and the "hardest" superbosses are just huge HP numbers that take, literally, 3-4 hours to kill. I do like the game though.
