|
Fuck u, it's not streaming for me AT ALL. I'm on wifi, dick.
|

I'm sorry, man I really am |
Keeps just going back to my stations.
WHHHYYYY!!! I wanna hear this shit bad. |
maybe try just searching for it in the radio stations?
|
Tried that it doesn't even come up.
|
Got it, finally.
|
enjoy
I know you will |
Word.. aww man.. bout to do like Razah w/ the og kush.
Knew this shit would be dope as hell. Good look Des, cuz I woulda missed out til the weekend at least. |
'I Need a Doctor' was a horrible song. Is it like that?
Can't trust Dre post-steroids unless he has the Destro check of approval. |
nah, Dan, pretty sure this is instant classic
|
Def instant classic.
|
Why not just call it Detox then?
does it have a lot of features or what's up. can i buy/illegally dl this album right now? I have so many questions. Chronic 2001 is too dope to ruin with a bad follow up. |
Man this shit crank hard den a motherfucka yo.
That Darkside beat doe. It's just on stream preview right now, til tomorrow, Dan. The whole album tho. Alot of features yea. |
Good. The more features the better. Eminem joints? Are we talking good or bad Eminem?
This shit has me hyped. I'm going to be disappointed. |
it's all features mostly, one solo dre track
Kendrick is on it a lot also, Anderson .paak em is only got like 16 bars on one verse all are dre beats and seems like DJ premier on at least one track |
snoop is on it, and is fire
cube is on it, and is fire it's like just enough of everybody to be satisfied there's a new eazy-e sample that I think hasn't been heard before, at least I've never heard it |
U won't be disappointed.. this shit bang relentless.
I ain't got to the Em verse yet.. I'm still in the first third of the album. Em near the end. |
Dope album.
|
Dre showing he still the best producer in the game. That's for sure.
At least imo. |
So long as the beats are dope, I'm in.
|
Best album I heard in bout 10 years, real shit.
|
shit is fire
|

I thought it was really dope, but, I also don't remember all the albums from the last 10 years. I'm pretty sure I could figure out some albums I liked just as much if not more. |
I got it
|
i'm downloading now. i peeped a few snippets last night and thought it was blah but your guys love of this has me giving it a shot
the shit i heard tho was just a blatant biting of some atlanta shit, from the beat to the flows. it disheartened da god |
Fucking dope. Deep water is ill.
|
Dark side & Deep Water are dope af.
|
Just grabbed it as well.
|
ok live listening/critique session
track 2, yea this is that atlanta rip off shit. it goes, just find it corny dre is following trends. 808 music. the delivery/flow and shit smh. track 3. genocide. this shits dope. the beat. don't fuck with this jamaican bitch tho. skipped. track 4. fire. i recognise the sample. feel like i messed with it but i can't place it. yea this is coolness track 5. long ass intro. the bassline was worth the wait tho. drums are dope. dre the master of the clean mix. dre worked with 50 too much. im like 2 and a half minutes into it and he's just talking. lol. yea dre just ruined this when he started rapping lmao. whoever wrote his shit on this is wack. probably em and his wack rushed delivery skip. that bass is fire tho track 6. skip track 7. got dope as shit when xzhibit came in. track 8. stayed for cube. left pretty early. skip. track 9. beats a banger track 10. why he giving these rock beats to snoop and cube tho. snoop going in tho. track 11. BEAT IS CRAZY. this game? THIS IS FIRE. was feeling the aggression but then the weirdo delivery of second dude or if it was still game i dunno. the beat goes tho. hook/outro cool. track 12. skip track 13. skip track 14. UNGHHHHHHHH. this is nasty. track 15. was gonna skip until the beat dropped. skipped tho wack. track 16. FIRE. classic sample. he layered in some other shit tho with the strings. this is nasty. CONCLUSION - i didnt give this nearly a thorough enough listen. the production imo was a little too much. shit was overproduced. not just as far as the singing and switching between artists and shit, but the beats themselves changed up alot too feels too modern for me to dig it on first listen but i'm a haterjust feels like he's trying to fit in with where hip hop is now, instead of defining how hip hop sounds. but keep in mind during my quick listen i'm comparing him to his own work. the chronic changed hip hop. the chronic 2001, when dropped in 99 helped define how the 2000's would sound. this on the other hand sounds like him copying the styles of others from the past 10 years instead of putting something out others would copy on first listen animals is my favorite shit. then probably the short track with game. |
Man you can't do any sort of review after 30 mins lol.
I think people should take a few days of listening before reviewing. That applies to every album btw not just this one. People so quick to get reviews out they don't pay enough attention to the music imo |
yo after looking on wikipedia, track 4 which i dug, was co produced by BINK, one of my favorite underrated producers.
and the animals track was the one dj premier contributed to. i figured he had a hand in the one with game lol i really don't hear preme on that tho, listening now knowing he did it i guess i can see it, more in the sample arrangement of the verses, the drums sound like some dilla shit, but with dre crispiness, and you know dre did the overproduced hook but that shit goes |
Looking forward to hearing that shit with Xzibit, haven't heard anything from him in a while.
Dude's always been dope. |
