Not my list.
I don't have credentials to back-up such a list, but I would drop Big Pun, drop Nas and Eminem about 12 spots, add in Elzhi, move up Kendrick and Royce |
I'd have Pharoahe at number 1 tbh. Em and Nas outside the top 10 is insane.
|
Forgot Riff Raff
fucka idiyotes.. |
Some make sense.
Big daddy kane aint on here. Neither is kanye or 2pac. Wtf @ killer mike and sean price being top 20 anything. List is faulty. |
im so glad 2pac is not onn this list
so overrated he did alot for the culture but as far as being a dope mc nononono hes moroe a poet to me 2pac doesnt have dope lyrics his shit speaks to the soul big difference |
2-Pac is talented as fuck as an MC and a lyricist. still blows my mind people look at Biggie like "OMG his flow and storytelling!" and don't see how technically gifted Pac was.
|
pac as too much preachy bs that all sounds the same.

big just had the most versatile flow known to the game. TO THIS day thts why jayz is soo versatile too..obv paying homage pacs flow was ALWAYS the fucking same skipping along the track u know MArvin gaye.....use to say to me.... got me feelin like ...black was the thang to me N even tho u was a crack fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiend mommma U always was blccccccccccccck queeeeeeeeeen mommma everyone of his tracks had a template as far as the sound biggie would throw u a curveball on occasion now listen to Warning from biggie Nigga was having a conversation with himself without sounding like same person n the flow was sickkk. hydro stick a knife in my windpipe SLOW he switched it up like 4x ..and would have u bouncing to that shit because he was a trendsetting god |
wasn't taking away from Biggie at all, he's super talented. but people sleep on how good Pac was as an MC because his persona overshadowed his actual skill. and that's an over-simplification of his flow, which by the way, is one of several components of MCing (presence, delivery, lyrical dexterity, etc).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJGY5vEzYrY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xX5VCY28_Xo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2cjv7hEAytU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IRJTQ7FHx0o http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nU3y6BlxD8s I could go on more, but forreal, if you don't think Pac is one of the 20 most talented MCs at this point then you're too far gone. |
the first vid you posted is exactly what im taalking about

I aint going to read the 2pac argument but the me against the world cd is lyrically pretty good. Way more of his songs have stood the test of time compared to damn near that whole list.

JAY
PAC CAM |
Lol @ pac is over rated
|
no jada????!?!?
|
Pretty hearing pac be number one on people's list made me like him less
I've only been impressed by a couple trackss. After listening to like 4 albums lol. 7 Day Theory being my favorite. So go on @oats Lol at biggie not being number one tho |
Putting biggie and for that matter, Pac, on greatest lists is really not fair.
both were violently taken from us in their prime, and therefore, went out on top, with literally no chance to ever fall off, which, bottom line, happens to every rapper eventually. so, they're almost like obvious greats, their attraction will always be strong because all you have is their best material to compare them to. |
I never said tupac was the most talented mc, I actually said Pharoahe Monch is (in terms of sheer talent, not the "greatest"). But Pac is easily top 20, and prob top 15. I wouldn't rank him higher than 12 off the top, and biggie would be top 7 at worst.
People just sleeping on Pac's skill, which is elite, even if he's not THE most skilled MC. |
No action bronson?
|
west coast ppl gonna tard out over pac
excellent performer so-so lyricist |
He was good in juice.
