i think the samples pretty busy in the chorus/hook. transitions could use a little work? also, it might just be me but the bass seems a touch loud to go along with few other small but noticeable mixing issues (the strings' volume for one) but other than that this is dope work man.

if you can find a sample/samples with that type of shit i'm down. my creative process at the moment is to just flip anything that inspires me. which is hindering enough just searching for stuff i like enough to flip without any preconceived plan going in. if i was to narrow my digging for samples to anything specific i would stall out and fall into a slump again honestly lol

Good shit @uh-oh what kind of MPC do you use? And how much was it. Looking into setting up a lowkey studio from my laptop that I'm going to get with my settlement money. Also would like to know what's a good PC to use? I think Macs are overrated but I haven't had much hands on experience with one of them

clayton i use the mpc renaissance. i paid 1000 dollars like an immigrant but i think you can buy them brand new for 700ish if you shop around

i recommend FL studio before dropping money on the mpc.

i still use FL studio, i just use the mpc to chop, and play around with shit. but really it wasn't needed im literally doing nothing with it that i couldn't do without it. (although chopping is quicker)

but yea i would recommend any pc. just get a bunch of ram so programs run smooth no matter how hard you tax them. and a bunch of hard drive space for samples

hey thanks guys. and word oats the cool thing about music as opposed to writing is you don't need to know anything to comment on it. just consume it and you like it or not. there are intri***ies like with writing but its a natural thing as opposed to a learn thing to appreciate
