DIVISIONAL PLAYOFFS THREAD

i need to get the stink of that terrible cowboys/patriots thread off of me and start fresh

the only game that matters this week is on in an hour. i will be watching it in my living room shoveling chips and cheese and crackers into my gullet, and won't be around. i will check in during halftime to gloat, and be back after the game as well.

peace to you all

and death to the patriots.

I see the Patriots, Seahawks, Packers and Colts winning. I could see the Panthers pulling off the stunner with how they've played lately, though. Packers-Cowboys is the tough one.

Diode 01-10-2015 04:01 PM

Pantherssssss

Losing Star sucks though. Big blow to the inside.

Fart 01-10-2015 04:12 PM

Panther playing well....against the NFC South, no chance.

Also go the Ravens winning with dat pass rush. We all know how Brady fares after getting hit a few times.

Seattle played well.... against 2nd and 3rd string QBs.

The only way the Colts can win that game is a heroic performance from Luck. As in, his best game played in the NFL.

In my opinion of course.

I see the Broncos winning relatively comfortably.

I want the Ravens to win just for the Brady schadenfreude.

Seahawks will definitely win.

Packers/Cowboys could be a GB blowout or a close one. Depends on Rodgers' calf. But I think GB ends up winning.

Certain 01-10-2015 04:35 PM

Yeah, six of the Seahawks' nine wins in that 9-1 finish to the season came against shit quarterbacks, and two came against Colin Kaepernick, who may not be a shit quarterback but definitely was one to finish this year. The Seahawks are very good, but I don't see a repeat championship, whether they win this week or not.

As far as the Broncos, my opinion of them might be overly colored by the Bengals Monday nighter.

You can quote this post if I'm wrong.

TD Purple City Bird Gang

Throwing underneath against NE's shitty coverage LBs all day

PancakeBrah 01-10-2015 04:43 PM

Playoff Flacco seems to be a real thing now.

PancakeBrah 01-10-2015 04:46 PM

CJ Anderson vs. a weak Indy run defense, Indy has no one who'll put pressure on Manning (who had the lowest sack rate this season to begin with), Indy won't be able to run, and Denver has the obvious edge rushing advantage. Denver won't even need Manning to Manning unless Luck just snaps.

And yeah, Seattle's run was against pretty weak competition. But that defense still put up stupid numbers. Even if it's against weak competition, not many teams could do what they did. Also, it's not like Carolina's offense is high powered. I think Seattle repeats.

Diode 01-10-2015 04:46 PM

McCourty (ru rah rah!) Knocked torrey smith out of the game

Oof

Fart 01-10-2015 04:53 PM

Two second string QB's > NFC South. One of which scored 2 TD's on the Panthers, the other beat the Broncos. Sanchez is barely a 2nd string QB. Put up around 30 PPG since he started. Lol sound argument though.

Sorry but the Panthers are a BYE week. Talk to me when you allow less than 40 points in 6 weeks against anyone

Fart 01-10-2015 04:57 PM

Also 4/6 of the teams Seattle beat were top 8 defenses. Suck a dick or get a new argument

Certain 01-10-2015 05:01 PM

Part of your argument involves saying Mark Sanchez is good.

Pent uP 01-10-2015 05:01 PM

Seniiiior

Pent uP 01-10-2015 05:03 PM

Oh and while im in here

+1 to the comment about luck needing the game of his life but goddamnit do I want him to win

I guess over 30 ppg wasn't good. I believe they were top 3 on offense. Got 130 yards
but you're right

Tom Sparks 01-10-2015 05:06 PM

This has Ravens blowout all over it

And I couldn't hate it anymore

Tom Sparks 01-10-2015 05:11 PM

There u go

Pent uP 01-10-2015 05:13 PM

Brady spiking the ball like right before a sack

they can't stop the run, they can't stop the pass.

all they can do on offense is pass, and brady is flustered.

i dont think i've ever seen a game where brady isn't crying to the refs everytime someone touches him

he's a soft fairy bitch

Fart 01-10-2015 06:19 PM

like i said Brady turns bitch against any viable pass rush

PancakeBrah 01-10-2015 06:23 PM

That DPI call was a bit weak. But that's not on the Ravens. They took advantage of it and capitalized.

Got to figure Brady/Belichick will come out firing in the 2nd half but things are looking good for Baltimore.

uh-oh 01-10-2015 06:23 PM

i like how the first play that got to him tho, he was the one acting like a faggot, getting all slap happy cuz mcphee didnt get up quick enough, so mcphee stays over him in retaliation, and brady bumbles around throwing a temper tantrum like it was on mcphee

maybe be more patient and not try and slap a 6'3'' 290 lb MACHINE off of you.

nah, revis had the arm across him and was trying to run him out of bounds without looking for the ball. ref was right there too, was impossible to miss.

i thought the one on mosley was trash. but i guess it was past 5 yards the contact was stupid minimal tho.

same with webb, dude ran right into him. webbs allowed to stand on the field lol.

but obviously all of this is dripping with BIAS

Fart 01-10-2015 06:26 PM

Stop Gronk and they win.

uh-oh 01-10-2015 06:42 PM

4 tds for ole FLACCOOOO

~RustyGunZ~ 01-10-2015 06:43 PM

Great calls this game

Totally not pass interference to hold someone's arm against their side for a solid 5 seconds

There have been iffy calls and non-calls on both sides. The refs haven't decided this game. Patriots defense doesn't look like it's regular season self, at all.

Harbaugh's been out coaching Belichick, bros. Ravens swagging, currently.

Half Wit It 01-10-2015 06:44 PM

Yo, Ravens win this game I wanna see them vs SEA in the SB.

PancakeBrah 01-10-2015 07:04 PM

Holy shit.

Half Wit It 01-10-2015 07:05 PM

And here come the motherfuckin Pats!!

~RustyGunZ~ 01-10-2015 07:06 PM

That was fuckin slick

Strikta 01-10-2015 07:07 PM

Pent uP 01-10-2015 07:07 PM
