What's Up With the Battle League?
 

The shit is set up like a tournament. If it's a league it's supposed to be weekly sign ins and sign outs with a champ contending the crown every week. From what I see it has rounds, playoffs, and a championship... Well that shit is a tournament not a league... you guys need to fix that shit. I'm trying to throw down a verse or two for the next couple of weeks.

NBL Playoffs are now on a sign up basis. First two to sign in this week are in the championship match and the winner will receive the accomplishment

Why the hell is there playoffs though? It should be set up like so:

Champ Match
#1 rank vs #2 rank

Contender Match
#3 rank vs #4 rank

#5 rank vs #6 rank


... and so on.


as you win you move up the ranks.... Sign in in a sign up page... The mod ranks everyone based on their records... you can sign out whenever you want and when you sign back in you can sign in with the previous record you had and be ranked accordingly.... but new sign ups can't automatically be placed in the Contender Match even if they have a better record than those in that match... the highest you can be ranked after a new sign in is #5.... you can also sign in at (0-0) and start with a clean slate if you want to... you just get ranked at the bottom.

You guys are set up like a "football" or "basketball" system... that's cool and all... That's just not what I'm used to. Having a playoff restricts people from joining up. I'm used to a "boxing" type system. Where there is always a champ who has to defend the title weekly and people are constantly moving up and down the ranks..... and people sign up any and every week.

Ok, I'm going to explain this slowly.

The league starts, anyone can sign up...it goes on for like 13 weeks or w/e it is, with a champ and contender match each week, then when the 13 weeks is up the best records enter the playoff tournament to decide who wins overall.

Why?... This is the way leagues have been set up for years... back when text was at its peak. That's how it was when I ran the RBL and that's the way it should be. It makes no sense why you wanna limit activity in the league. You could get some old school vet like User, Resin, Hensley, etc. drop in where everybody wants to see them drop but they can't cuz.... "sorry we're having playoffs"... It's dumb.
