truck problems

yo so the bronco runs like a dream engine/transmission wise

but when I hit turns sometimes the wheel gets weird on me. like if I hit a left once im in the lane and straighten it out it kind of sticks like it slightly wants to keep pulling me left. so I compensate by holding it right a little. but then out of nowhere it will click back to normal and its like oh shit its trying to pull me right now.

so basically sometimes when I drive im swerving left and right in an attempt to keep it straight. not bad enough to switch lanes on me or pull me into traffic but still alarming

what do you think it is I have no idea

taking it to the shop here in a minute but word trying to brace myself for the prognosis

thinking its maybe alignment? ball joints? tie rods(sp)?

dude put new tires/wheels on it a couple months before I got it maybe he didnt do something right?

Wise Wiggles 12-03-2014 08:55 AM

yeah sounds like the alignment or balljoint may be fucked. you don't work with anyone who knows cars?

uh-oh 12-03-2014 09:00 AM

yea thats the only reason i think it might be the alignment/balljoint or whatever haha.

i havent had anyone get under it/look at it for realzies tho

Ghost1 12-03-2014 10:22 AM

I had rack an pinion (sp? Idc) alignment, ball bearing an zum whole othdr wild shit

Only reason i knew it was fucked tho was cuz at about 40 mph the car made this crazy humming noise like the engine was gonna blow....turns out it was the ball bearing shit .... at 50 mph the humming stopped....was weird

Dropped like 2 bands on it.

Diode 12-03-2014 10:38 AM

alignment or cv boot leaking grease everywhere so it's getting stuck due to friction

if not that, problem with the rack and pinion, might have shorn a tooth in there, might be the ball joint, who knows.

uh-oh 12-03-2014 10:51 AM

yea i had my dad drive it and i followed him in his truck

he was all shook like wtf man i don't know how you drive that

but word he thinks it might be the "steering box" but he's like me he don't know shit he spent his life working on the outside of cars.

but yea its at the shop now waiting on a call back for their diagnosis

yeah steering box is where the rack, pinion, and ball joint reside that control steering via the axle.

prob did snap a tooth

veritas 12-03-2014 12:06 PM

This sounds like a karma problem to me?

uh-oh 12-03-2014 12:54 PM

veritas 12-03-2014 01:40 PM

First you explain what you think I am talking about sir.

uh-oh 12-03-2014 01:44 PM

Mike Wrecka 12-03-2014 04:36 PM

I'll give u $150 for that MPC bruh

U don't wanna ride the bus to work

uh-oh 12-03-2014 04:40 PM

my pops has a truck and no job, meaning i use his truck for the next few days, IF I HAVE WORK

its the slow time of the year

i got fried chicken delivered earlier, been eating drumsticks (ice cream), chainsmoking cigarettes and banging on the mpc all day yooooo

THE LIFE

Wise Wiggles 12-03-2014 04:51 PM

My day has consisted of Mucinex, cough drops & Kleenex. Fun, I know..

Mike Wrecka 12-03-2014 04:57 PM

Uh oh smoking near ur equipment is just plain retarded

Spoken 12-03-2014 05:07 PM

Lol..

It's either ur tire rods, cv boot, control arm. Also could be a pulled tire.. (one of ur tired has a clot pulp making the tired lopsided so it throws off the traction)

I think you will find smoking is the best thing any man can do anywhere at any time.

Except in bars here, excluding some that don't care.

I hate not smoking in bars cuz now i have to go outside wtf i don't wanna be outside when i'm getting drunk, it's wet out there.

uh-oh 12-03-2014 06:24 PM

WITTY GETS ALL THE REP

but yea mike wrecka i'll blow my smoke right in the circuitry

asking me not to chainsmoke when making music is like asking marvin gaye to stand up when he records

Im having the same trouble in my subaru rite now. A while ago a ran a pothole hard and it blew my tire and bent my control arm to shit. So i replaced the tire and bought a control arm. I swapped out control arms and never got it aligned. Now its been a few months and the car wobbles like a phat slut booty shaking. Like its possessed. Im thinking i may need new tires and definitely an apignment. But there may be some other shit going on that im not awware of concerni g my suspension. Basically.. my advice is, try getti g your tires balanced forst. You may have thrown a counter weight.. its not unheard of and this would cause an odd feeling in the steering. If that doesnt work. Maye an alivnment kight help.. otherwise it could be you suspension somewhere is damaged. Worse case scenario... your rack and pinion is fucking up.. check your power steering fluid and see iv the car makes funny noises when you turn the wheel. If so.. could be the rack man. But thats worst case... a rack is big money unless you know how and have the right tools and equipment to fix it yourself.. in a bronco -i imagine the rack would be a massive job. The o e i did in my mercury mountaineer was an i sane job alot of work. Good luck with it tho. 1

Id like to have some uh-oh beats to blaze. If you have any dope joints laying around that you dont have any plans for.. shoot something my way. Would love to blaze one of your joints.

Geno 12-03-2014 07:39 PM

Ohhhh. And referri g to so.ething diode said.. the ball joints could be bad to. also the ball besribgs...Forgot about that. If you do one bearing side though.. change the other to. Cause its most likely gonna go anytime soon after. Lastbthibg uou want is for a ball bearing to blow out while your drivibg.. i had that happen cause didnt realize it was that bad and it tore my axel all to hell and made a small problem a much bigger oe. Sure sign of a ball bearing problem is if you hear a howli g comi g from the car while your cruising down the road at higher speed. It woll sound like a constant whoosh of wing and almost like a howl

uhoh.bandcamp.com

put 0 in to download for free theres probably 100 beats between those 5 projects, and its pretty much all my best beats scattered throughout

i havent made a new beat since may of 2013. like a finished complete beat at least, i've been messing with this mpc since i got it but the learning curve is pretty steep.

uh-oh 12-04-2014 12:50 PM

tierod (sp) ends, gear box (steering box i assume?) and some sleeve thing

basically best case, 1000. worst case 1200.

so right around where i was thinking. rough tho

basically i bought it for 3600 instead of 2400

Ghost1 12-04-2014 01:20 PM

Word....i had tierod issues too....that was the other shit k was forgetting

Shits pricey.

worrrrd. good looks G. hopefully you can tap into that mpc and start banging some serious shit out. that'd be sweet. thanks for the link. good luck with the vehicle issues

Diode 12-04-2014 01:25 PM

tie rods likely bent when the steering box took a shit

uh-oh 12-04-2014 01:31 PM

word probably i dunno

i know when i was straightening it out, like i pulled into my parking spot at work and kinda just moved the wheel back and forth trying to maybe loosen it up/get it from pulling i heard a pop/knock once.

glad i took it in tho, i was just gonna rambo that shit and keep driving it but with my luck i would lose control doing 70 on the highway and careen into oncoming traffic, hit a civic head on and drive/jump over it cuz it sits high and fly off a bridge into a frozen creek and have to kennedy my way out if i didnt die from the fall

This

uh-oh 12-06-2014 09:30 AM

came to 1,110.99

"checked front suspension. found steering gear very loose, found inner drag link loose and inner tie rod on left side loose and found small amount of looseness in outer tie rod ends. replaced steering gear box. replaced drag link and inner tie rod and outer rod ends. installed new adjustment sleeves. performed front end alignment. motorcraft oil and filter change, lube and top off fluids as required, check and set tire settings to vehicle manufacturer specs. test drove vehicle. found ok.
