How many hours a week do ya'll work?
No shit. I'm working 60-70 hours a week now and I'm slowly getting burned out.
I try to avoid working weekends so it makes my work week even more....fucked? Are any of you also workaholics. Also, to those of you that work more than 40 hours a week - do u work weekends? @Strikta (jokes) |
I work 40+ a week. All nights.
I'm actually at work now doing NADA LOL! Get Sundays off... can't complain at all really. It's a gravy job. |
I probably spend about 45 hours a week in the office, but I work from home on and off pretty much whenever I'm at a computer (and sometimes when I'm not). That adds up to another 45 hours a week that I might be working but also might just be watching Netflix if nothing is pressing. My job is flexible enough that I can do shit like write a topical league magazine while monitoring work stuff.

38-44 depends. Work some weekends, but usually work mon-thurs

45. No weekends.
I've worked 80 hour weeks for months-years at a time. You get used to it, but yeah, it's easy to burn out. What sucks the most is after a while it feels like the money you're making doesnt even matter, because you don't have the time to enjoy it. There has to be some light at the end of the tunnel. |
i don't really have anything set in stone. when i'm busy, i'm busy. when i'm not, i'm not.
i generally get up between 9 and 930 and generally log out of lync by 6-630ish. i make my own lunch since i work from home, so the only "break" is if i decide to go do something. i usually feel like a slacker if i'm out of the office for more than an hour and a half but it's happened. if someone calls me to play golf (rare - i am terrible), i might arrange my schedule to disappear for a few hours. some days that isn't an option though. i dunno. i probably have way more freedom to do stuff like that than i allow myself because i have a guilty conscience if i'm not in front of the computer. might also be why i answer midnight emails even though there's no need or urgency to. |

Fuck Lync. Always timing out. Office Communicator was less glitchy. |

you are all slaves..
Word @dullboy. whats the point if u can never spend the dough. i live by this.. haha I USED to work 45ish hours a week every week for like 7 years (minus annual 2 week vacay). I saved a shitload a cash and i have worked part time(like 30ish hours a week) ever since(about 4 years) Funny though, cause I recently just started back at my old job in sales and will be doing that part time for winter/Christmas busy season, as well as my current part time job at the rink. so yeah right now i'm actually working about 45- 50ish each week till December for some extra money then back to REAL LIFE for summer fun time! ha fuck working that much... i have taken 2 of the last 3 summers completely off.. and barely worked the 3rd... shits gangsta |
|
45-50 autumn-spring and then 20 in summer ... Averages out to 40ish. Work weekends from home sometimes if I don't get everything done during the week.
|
32-40 hours for about 5-6 nights, with 3-4 weeks off a year.
I would consider making rewarding habits like eating lunch at certain places through the week, starbux, shake places. Time management can stress ppl out when you have none. make a schedule for little things |
Supposed to do 40. Always late and/or leave early. Been like 35 lately. Salary ftw
|
40 no weekends.
Vaca. Year end Bonus. Holidays paid. |

On salary. So it's doesn't matter really. Some weeks they get free hours out of me. Some weeks they pay me for nothing.
|
Self Employed. I can make my hours whenever I please. However, I strive to do at least 30 a week. Not much but with the money I earn I can usually afford to cut hours back a lot.
Also, I have a vacancy open if anybody is interested. It's a work from home type shit. Free company laptop and cellphone provided. Holla if you're interested. |

That's like an employer saying "Sorry, I can't hire you because it say's here you are a registered member on Facebook?" However, I would need the applicant to format their CV in video as they emphasise their credibility through lyrical gangster lisps. |

I usually work anywhere from 48-55 hours a week. I'm salaried but do stay late most days, and I also have a 2nd job twice a week for supplemental income.
|
About 16 hours a day Monday through Sunday.
|
God damn son, that's kinda brutal.
