Copy is in another contenders? Just lost to certain two weeks ago.

Certain (5-0) vs Mr. J (4-1) - both dope but Certain is too consistently so to predict against
NYCSPITZ (4-1) vs CopyPat (4-1) - super close, can't call it... will depend on topic and motivation
Defiant (3-1) vs Dominate (2-0) - g/l
timeless (3-2) vs dead man (3-2) - not super familiar with timeless but dead man is hard to beat
Witty (3-1) vs Unborn Buddha (3-1) - more polished/experienced/focussed
Dove Dozer (3-1) vs Vulgar (2-2) - Vulgar is sick. Dozer is as well, but havent seen a fleshed out verse from him yet.
zygote (1-1) vs Soulstice (2-2) - another one that's too close to call and will depend on the topic and the writers' motivation
Greed (2-3) vs kannon (2-3) - Greed showed a lot of improvement last week but I think kannon will still have him outclassed
Three-Planes-Aligned (2-2) vs asylum (1-3) - only seen the one verse from asylum which looked to have been written kinda quickly, he might be dope but I don't know. 3pa IS dope.
Vividlyvague (0-0) vs Athiest (0-0) - haven't heard of athiest. Have heard of VV, think I've read some of his verses even...can't recall but I associate the name with good writing.
Zen (0-0) vs Storyteller (0-0) - no idea really. Think I've heard of Zen so maybe he's the more experienced of the two.

I definitely didn't understand last weeks due dates. Verses are usually due thursdays, so I thought the 24 hour extension was for friday (halloween). which is why a shitfaced nick jones came home at 11:30 on halloween and wrote a shitty no show verse. and then the threads stayed open for another 24 hours :/

Oh well. I'll write tomorrow for this week. make sure I get it in early.

@King Ra., I can write some form of magazine article if you require it.

NYCSPITZ (4-1) vs CopyPat (4-1)
Both of these fools were bounced in Round 1 of the Short-Verse Topical Tournament, so they have something to prove. Also both of these guys are on a roll this season aside from losing to me. They both would love another shot. I'm saying NYCSPITZ comes with something better-built for the format this time.

Defiant (3-1) vs Dominate (2-0)
Dominate has really impressed me with his two verses, and his style fits well within the short-verse format. Defiant has coasted to a 3-1 record. Winner by all means should get a spot in the contender match next week.

timeless (3-2) vs dead man (3-2)
I think dead man is the ideal writer for this format. timeless will need to be very creative.

Witty (3-1) vs Unborn Buddha (3-1)
Witty's Unpredictable, Talented And Naturally Gay.

Dove Dozer (3-1) vs Vulgar (2-2)
I gave them a solider theme. This battle should be great fun. If I recall correctly, they finished first and second in one Write Week, which also had 16-line limits.

zygote (1-1) vs Soulstice (2-2)
Has zygote ever lost twice in a row? I could find no such instance.

Greed (2-3) vs kannon (2-3)
This battle could be pretty interesting if Greed keeps developing.

Three-Planes-Aligned (2-2) vs asylum (1-3)
The rematch probably will play out similarly to the first meeting this season.

Vividlyvague (0-0) vs Atheist (0-0)
Atheist can be pretty damn lazy, so the short-verse format helps him. Vividlyvague's best verses have often been his shorter ones, though.

Zen (0-0) vs Storyteller (0-0)
Rhymes on rhymes on rhymes.
