A: arrchives is obv
B: it was the most mature layout of all time in comparison to other hiphop boards.
Meaning.. there no flashy ass url html pictures slowing down your load time. It was a simple/easy as hell to navigate site with the most basic layouts and color schemes ever, which made it extremely convenient for mature users to get accustomed to. Not saying a little flash is bad.. but it definitely isn't necessary to build a successful domain.

To me, those were the two standouts.. those things brought the dope emcees, and the dope emcees brought traffic

im not a big fan of the "battle hack" but one thing it does well is hide who voted & who they voted for until the person themselves vote.. this way people dont just say "oh thats gow he voted for him he must of won!" etc, just an example no offense to gow
