Anyone got good experiences having just turned 21? i'm not like a real big bar person, even though I've never been in one. i just don't do other people in general. more of a go to a restaurant and order the biggest fucking margarita there is and get plastered & eat great food. idk thought, plus with it being in the middle of Winter i don't think going out to a club or bar would be the best cause fuck cold.

are bars and clubs all what they are hyped up to be?

By the time I was 21 I was already bored of clubs.

I was drinking in bars and going to clubs quite a while before the legal age, which is 18 here.

Just get drunk and see what happens, making plans is too restrictive.

It's mostly because I don't like big crowds. lots of people, too many distractions. everyone seems annoying to me, most are idiots. i'm by no means awkward in situations where i'm around alot of people, but i don't enjoy it as much as i would being around a handful of genuine friends.

I'm still going to go out with older friends to bars and such. but as for a club thats ehhh to me. like i already have a girlfriend so whats the point?

Bars and clubs are fine, use them as a practice place to get comfortable with drinking in public and talking to randoms. I however prefer pubs/bars with friends where you can talk shit and get drunk with your group of friends, perhaps go outside for a toke and save the drunken stupor and dancing for special events focused in on edm or other shit worth giving a go. Go to one of these places where it's obvious people are doing drugs (psytrance events etc.), do some mdma (invest in a drug test kit so you don't get some funky shit you don't want in your system and do your research like a responsible drug user) and have fun. It'll definitely take away the stigma you're carrying around that everyone in your vicinity is bastards and that you hate them etc. Buy chewing gum with your fav taste if you got a good hookup. Have fun.
