Scranton is not near Harrisburg.

I've only been there a few times and disliked it immensely. Even the baseball stadium is worse than the other Class AAA parks I've been to.

Yes, it's a terribly depressed place along with 90% of Pennsylvania. My mom lives just north of the Lehigh Valley, which isn't so bad in a suburban way. The 10% of the state that doesn't suck is all in the East, plus some aspects of actual Amish country.

Scranton is close enough to me, and I've been through there a few times. If you're looking for a hangout try the Woodlands Inn. It seems to be one of the few "clubs" in the area and locals frequent it, although the percentage of male to female there was like 70/30. But you have your lady on your arm so that doesn't matter.
