you guys are really nailing some points on religion and shit that you've never done before

so fun to read, def what the site needs

well if its something youre teaching your children id probably say that alone should motivate you to genuinely research the matter so you can feel confident that youre teaching your children something that you believe in whole heartedly .... and in turn don't leave them in the same position youre in.

Amen 12-21-2018 11:15 AM

That's true, but I'm not teaching them. I'm allowing the CCD classes to do that for me.

I hardly ever speak religious stuff with them only because my position as a believer/non believer - if that makes any sense.

I think that would be wrong, if I did considering I'm not a firm believer.

But you're right, man.

What's your position? I see you read a lot of religious type of books? Just curious to know your position? Is that why you read those types of the books? As in searching for meaning and what not? Or do you just enjoy reading that genre?

You are married yes? That would testify against your fear of commitment. Maybe it is something else?

Answer 12-21-2018 11:22 AM

only thing I'll say here is my mother never pushed any beliefs onto me which allowed me to choose for myself. I'm grateful for that.

I am not married, however have been with my newly fiance for 10 years strong.

I recently got over the fear if "Marriage" and decided to move on with it, I guess, and purposed, well not so recently but in August - on her birthday.

Baby steps.

But again, I was raised in a family where marriage wasn't a thing. It was always the mentality "If it isn't broken - then don't fix it" Just long relationships, I guess or Common Law Marriages? IDK but all my Aunts an Uncles are pushing 30/40 plus relationships and still not legally or married through the Church.

How’d that degree in journalism turn out? Don’t speak to me unless it’s about my wireless bill. You’re dense.

Destroyer 12-21-2018 11:47 AM

Lmao
I make more money in wireless
That’s a no-brainer. I’m still able to point out your shit grammar tho.

Tried this. Doesn’t work well. There’s a reason Dr. Phil’s most viewed episodes involve someone screaming expletives into the crowd.

I have noticed that perpetual hate and arguing seems to be the fuel that keeps this site going somehow. But tbh I get fatigued reading this stuff after like 5 pages, it seems like it's been going on for like 10+ years now

Destroyer 12-21-2018 12:10 PM

FAIR?

veritas 12-21-2018 12:10 PM

I have already said that I am an evolutionist because Christianity is the true evolution. But no one wants to listen to me.

With all of Jude’s progress I thought today might be the day but I am not sure.
