Text can die for all I care, if topical writing was dying I might be a little more concerned and might even start writing topicals seriously again. But topical writers do it because they are writers and like to write...text battlers do it because they have egos and like to ego...so the topical side of things will always live much longer than text.

That's true...although you could argue topical writing existed long before the internet, but yes...in this format in which we do it, you are correct.

Nowadays however they are two very separate things, which require two different skill sets.

I'm not a fan of topicals. And is definitely does take a different skill set. It's more of a poetic writing style with text format/structure.

Metaphors, similes, nice flow with inner and external multi syllable schemes and wording in such a way to create visuals/imagery to the point the reader and visualize everything read like it's playing liek a movie.

My point is that you are saying you "dont care about text" but the day text is completely gone from this site you and your topical friends are finished
