RJD2, Deadringer
Massive Attack, Blue Lines
Massive Attack, Mezzanine
DJ Shadow, Endtroducing ...

Malachi 01-25-2014 06:35 PM

never heard of them before.

Certain 01-25-2014 06:40 PM

What kind of instrumentals do you want? Do you mean like beat tapes, or actual instrumental hip hop? That's instrumental hip hop, so it's meant to be listened to without rap. Beat tapes or instrumental versions of albums are just empty beats, boring to listen to usually but good if you want to record over them.

malachi listen to liquid swords for a full year.

only then can you attain true enlightenment.

Malachi 01-25-2014 10:42 PM

i copped some

instrumental albums/projects by: Pete rock, knxwledge, mf doom, madlib, j dilla, and 9th wonder. didnt listen fully yet tho just dropped em in my playlist

then im lovin this redman muddy waters and then ima listen to mecca and soul brother
wordd

maybe das efx tommorow

uh-oh 01-25-2014 11:49 PM

word man when i listen to hip hop i do it through producers. theres only a few rappers who i'll listen to whatever they put out, but from a producer standpoint even if its someone wack i know its a 50/50 on whether i'll keep it or not just cuz i know the beat will be hot

if you liked appollo browns beats peep daily bread by hassaan mackey. its a modernish classic in my opinion. the rapper takes a second to grow on you tho but appollo brown is nasty with it and he compliments it nicely. i didnt like oc's joint with appollo, trophies. there were dope beats but oc didnt hold me

when this comes on shits firrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

oh i agree
UGK is sick

ima check out TI then

Certain 02-01-2014 02:08 AM

T.I. is a guy who went through a lot of different styles. I really like Trap Muzik, King and Paper Trail, but they might as well be by completely different rappers. Paper Trail is his most lyrical, but King is probably the best all-around package. Trap Muzik is for the car, and you can't drive because you're 14.

Malachi 02-01-2014 02:15 AM

LOL word. I can always bump it on the bus car ride or sumchin tho

Malachi 02-13-2014 04:26 PM

@Certain
when u were makin this chart did u go by what ud think id like by my taste
or
did u pick just like all the classics from that era, even if u didnt like it but they were still considered a classic
or
did u just put your fav albums
