Well, here's my logic: When it's pouring rain, I can avoid doing anything outside. When it's drizzling, I am expected to man the fuck up and do things like a normal person.

Zen 12-06-2013 12:27 PM

Don't man up. Just do nothing all the time. If people realized this actually is a posibility, the world would be amazing.

Certain 12-06-2013 12:30 PM

I try. I really need to stop having friends.

Zen 12-06-2013 12:31 PM

I know that feeling. Believe me.

PancakeBrah 12-06-2013 01:56 PM

Fargo ND

Zen 12-06-2013 01:59 PM

Cake do you talk like everyone does on the movie Fargo? I really hope so. I'm gonna read your verses in that accent from now on.

YDK 12-06-2013 02:32 PM

Damn I'm jealous of everybody except cakes location...an fuck Michigan lol its freezing rain right now an has been since this morning. But I agree with certain I fuckin detest drizzle....except the Carmel drizzle on McDonald's frappe thingys. That drizzle is astounding

We always seem to get crazy luck with the storms, especially in Lansing 'cause of the pressure change over lake Michigan, usually ends up splitting right around us, sucks for the gardening season though

No I don't have that Minnesota accent. I moved here as an adult. I do have it on certain words every once in awhile just through being around it so much.

Zen 12-06-2013 04:49 PM

Well fuck. I'm still gonna read your verses that way. Ya.

@PancakeBrah, your avatar inspired me to listen to that album today for the first time. I like this one.

Also, YouTube's next suggestion for me was Antlers' Hospice.

YDK 12-06-2013 06:09 PM

I get sick to my stomach every time I hear think or see the word hospice

I listened to Hospice, by itself, for two weeks straight during one point of my life. I listen to some of their other releases more nowadays but I think that's just due to burnout. Probably my favorite band.

Certain 12-06-2013 07:49 PM

I like Antlers a lot, Hospice more than the newer stuff, too. I only brought it up because I felt like YouTube was channeling me into the mind of PancakeBrah.

I'd heard other stuff by Low before but never that album. It was much richer and more interesting. I think some bands sort of define themselves by what makes them unique, which then leads them further and further away from the heart of great music.

Also, I thought of one you might not have heard of: Laurel Halo. I'm not sure she's up your alley, as she's a little on the electronic side but not dance music.
