Have you ever hunted?

Hush 08-03-2018 02:04 PM

Nah . I fished once or twice

Don’t think I could shoot a animal tbh

veritas 08-03-2018 02:50 PM

Fair enough. You like to shoot guns? Or just walk in nature?

Hush 08-03-2018 02:53 PM

Love shooting love nature

Don’t enjoy killing stuff

veritas 08-03-2018 03:44 PM

That’s fair. I like to just go chill in the woods. But right now you gotta watch for ticks.

Bears, coyotes and mountain lions in these woods. I'm good on that forest trail hiking shit...

One eastern PA resident to another, I'm calling bs until proven otherwise

uh-oh 08-03-2018 04:52 PM

whats crazy to me is i played in the woods and shit as a kid around here, without a care in the world, meanwhile since i've been an adult theres been mad black bear sightings everywhere

i wonder if it was happening when i was a kid to and just oblivious

i think they're getting pushed out of PA though like moving west or something, because there are bears in ohio but its rare and usually nowhere near where im at

but yea no mountain lions. no coyotes that i know of. ohio is the land of every living creature that doesn't try to kill you

Look in to Mountain loin sightings north eastern, PA.

DEP made someone remove their home surveillance clip of one captured on their back porch waiting for their dog to be let out.

Think it was like Honesdale or some shit town.

Sharp 08-03-2018 04:56 PM

We got coyotes but they're not hugely present

It was a whole thing awhile ago how its legal to hunt coyotes with semi autos lol

boof 08-03-2018 04:57 PM

broski theres hella coyotes in ohio

My girl's from berks county, which is on the brink of the void, but I hear rumblings from her family that always end with 'then they realized it was some drunk hick making shit up'

I've only been as far north as lake Waumpaupack which had a hoax ages ago... They still talk about it because it's about as interesting as they get

Word

That and like V said, ticks. Never fucking dealt with that as a kid and my family all lived in connecting land for 500 acres like a cult. Was out deep in those woods for hours barely even got bad minor bug bites. My little cousin went like 10 yards into the woods we used to play in as soon as it was nice out this year and got 2 ticks in 30 minutes.

Amen 08-03-2018 05:02 PM

Keep researching past page 1 of google.

I've never seen one or heard one for that matter but people talk about it and the DEP is consistently denying their existence since introducing them to PA to help with the deer population. Definitely a lot of black bears. I think I read in the PIKE courier a few weekends ago - over populated this year. Every mother bear I've seen has had 2 to 3 cubs. Crazy. I've only saw 3 coyotes on the side of the highway going towards Scranton.

Then again I've only lived in PA full time now for 3 years, going on 4.

Only came up on weekends prior.

i've never seen a coyote but i don't doubt they are in ohio somewhere, espescially in the south by west virgina/kentucky probably
