Nah I doubt it. I think Ireland works through either naturalization (live in Ireland for the past year, and 3 of the last 5). Also you've got descend-ency (or however you spell or say it) where your parents or grand parents being born in Ireland qualified you. One of my grand parents were born in Ireland but fuck trying to phone up town halls in Donegal to find that shit. Lived here for 12 years straight now so that side'll be fine.
Just need to find a way to raise a grand pretty soon. I'm gonna phone them up and see if I can pay them up over the course of the year. Ironically, I think one of the things they make you swear is that you intend on remaining in the state. Bitch I'm only joining the state TO leave. |

How can I help? |

At least, here in England you can't, and they'll have roughly the same thing there with slight changes. It's a one-off fee.[/quote] |
I won! Yay!

That is very far from Ireland, like 50 miles I think. This would make gang related activities difficult. |

If all the people who claimed to be Irish actually lived in Ireland, there would be no room to move lol
|
It's just cause back in the day you's would have like 90 kids each.
One time I was up in Belfast on my way over to Scotland. Got out the motor and went into the shop. Despite being I think like 13, I was being stared out to fuck by adults. Was fairly confused. Left the shop and had a look around. "This must be one of those parts where they all love Rangers" I said upon looking at the red, white and blue curbs and lampposts. Then I looked down....seeing my full hoops Celtic top. I've never walked to a car quicker in my life. |

Legit lucky to be alive, no jokes, they don't play with that shit lol |
It's funny cause someone would start on me and I'd be like "Get yersel to fuck, I'm FROM the place where these teams are from" and they're still trying to start fights haha. Hell my auntie worked at Ibrox for like 15 years. She's the biggest Rangers fan ever and she bought half my Celtic tops.
In Ireland I always get "Oh you're from Glasgow, Rangers or Celtic?". Don't get me wrong, if we were in Scotland I'd be answering "Patrick Thistle" and hope to get the pity vote, but over here's a different story. I used to always say Celtic, the legit team I support, but then they'd say "Good" as if I'd be in trouble if I said otherwise. I then started to say "Rangers", as in "And what if it's not Celtic?" and they'd reply "Ah, bullshit they got relegated eh? Scottish football's never been the same since" haha. |
I'm actually Scottish but yeah I can be like the American version if your Irish gang lol
|
I prefer celtic tho, better team, better fans...and in regard to the divide in the culture, as I grew I figured out the entire situation is bullshit and tbh we're all Irish anyways so it's retarded to kill and hurt your own people over something they were born in to, I saw some nasty shit happen to catholics, the nastiest shit tho was the shit the paramilitaries did to their own people, just for power, they killed and maimed their own sides as much as the other side, it's so dumb....still way too many people who disagree with that tho, but it's getting better slowly...I remain optimistic.
But if I went to the shankill and said what I just said I may not get out alive or at least without serious injuries..and they know me there lol it's crazy. |

The situations bollocks cause we don't do that shite in Glasgow. My brother was Rangers, I was Celtic. My mum's family's protestant and my dad's is catholic. My aunty is CRAZY catholic, like through and through, and her brother in law is one of the head lads in the Orange Walk. Only a couple give a shit in Glasgow. In my town there was a Celtic pub quite near and we'd pop our head in every now and again to shout Rangers for Life and boot it. Aye the IRA loved a little bit of own-side killing. Omagh bombing and all that shite. Funniest thing ever is the 3rd season of Sons of Anarchy. |

I supported Tottenham a few seasons ago. The season before Bale got bit and was still in defence. You had Bale rising up, Modric rising up, Van der Vaart as one of the best in the world, Crouch was solid as a scorer, Defoe was on fire. Another team that sold everyone and bought crap. SOA is solid but that season they are in Ireland and the accents are brutal. Their impression of the current IRA running RPGs and sniper rifles for the Columbian Cartel is hilarious too. In 2015 they could probably sort the Cartel out with some green diesel and counterfeit fags. I also loved that Deadliest Warrior episode with the IRA when their specialist weapon was a flamethrower lmfao. |

I've only seen Bagpipes being played by homeless lads outside Asda and dragons must be an Aberdeen thing.

Touche but not what I was getting to in my question. I'm saying writing pieces to quote topics gets old and hard to connect with sometimes. It's nice to have a picture or title topic once in awhile.
|
Yeah I tend to pick small aspects out of titles. Son of a Gun, I wrote about the son of Tommy Gunn. "Blah blah wake up or chase you dream", I wrote about a guy chasing his dream. I prefer when you have a picture which is both limited and open at the same time.
Anyways, now the important stuff. Earlier tonight I went into a shop (or store los Americanos) for some beer. An old enough woman, at least 60s, asked me tto get something for her off the shelf. I, being the strapping young man I am, obliged. She was at that time holding 3 tubes of Sour Cream and Onion Pringles. If America doesnt have these, the picture below will aid you. Safe to say they are quite large in size. Anyways, she had three, a hard amount to carry. She asked me for something off the shelf...MORE Pringles. She asked for 2. I got her 2. Then, she ACTUALLY asked for 2 more. Aggain, I got them. Now this woman's standing here with SEVEN tubes of Sour Cream and Onion Pringles. I had my own stuff to carry so couldnt help, not that the trooper needed any. I made the joke "Must be a good party" to which she replied "No, they're €1 each". AND YOU BOUGHT FUCKING 7 OF THEM? http://ashevillemunchies.com/wp-cont...reamonion1.jpg |
How much is a euro in American currency?
|
Slightly over a dollar I believe but the exchange rate changes daily
|
What's minimum wage in Kentucky?
|
But yes we have Pringles here Erebus proctor and Gamble the company that owns Pringles is the company my mom worked for before she passed away. We always got these huge Christmas boxes about 2 weeks before Christmas stuff ffrom all the companies p&g owns lol Pringles, gillete fusion razors and shaving cream, jiff peanut butter, folgers coffee, panteeb prov shampoos an conditioners, swiffer items, an a bunch of other stuff. It was fuckin awesome lol
|
The fact that my comment sparked a discussion about Kentucky Vs the exchange rate says this is DEFINITELY in the topical lounge.
|
I think minimum wage here is like 7.50 or 7.75 I'm not quite sure tho
Haven't had a job that paid minimum wage since I was 15 an it only lasted tikm I saw my first check lmao |
