I will be real, I have a lot to learn. I will give Diode the respect he deserves because he is right it takes a long time to get to the point where you can actually write your own payloads. Most of the hacking I have done in the past was application based.
As a security expert friend of mine has said this is about how things go.
Noob ->
Kiddie Scripter ->
Noob hacker ->
Hacker ->
Expert Hacker ->
Then someone who can find vulnerabilities and make payloads etc.
I have been studying backtrack for about a month at the most and that's off and on because I am still in school working on my masters.
I am an expert game programmer and I have a bachelors degree in this field. I understand a little about reverse engineering. I have knowledge in compilers, interrupters and ASM(memory addresses) as I said I do and all the other languages I talked about as well. As far as being a hacker I prob could build tools once I understand the ins and outs of vulnerabilities, but as of now I still use other hackers tools, which does makes me a Kiddie Scripter. I am curious now if Diode is more then a kiddie scripter?
