MGK will definitely respond. This is it. His moment. Better capture it and hope it don’t pass him.

Why do people act like all emcees don't get outta pocket when ppl, diss they work?
I just read a magazine that fucked up my day,how you rate music, that ppl with nothing relate to...do you fools listen to music or just skim through it |
I don't rate it numerically but I do determine whether I like it or don't if that's what you consider rating.

Fuck is this Canadian faggot even on about?

I read mad posts in this thread that was like....eh not even worth it engaging or disputing because if you were able to even arrive at that opinion........we are way too far away from having an intelligent discussion smh

I guess my point was that hes more concerned with promoting his image

Freedom of information and expression is wild. There has been a swell of social consciousness revolution from the 1960s on. Look where we are now. Everyone has their platform. Their opinion is capable of going viral any minute. Millions of fans turned quasi professional critics. Sensationalism gets the clicks. Clicks get the attention. When newspapers had a monopoly on public opinion there was always a ?healthy? distrust. Nightly news posed the same question. Now every major city has it's own news outlet, albeit controlled by a larger corporate agenda. Hip Hop is a microcosm of this. The Source used to control what was 'dope'. XXL. Certain websites. Now things are scattered as fuck. There's a sprawl of 'valid' opinions. The road to credibility went from a journey of self discovery and paying dues, to a sensational comment away. Less is earned in the realm of opinion. Those without credibility, but a desire to be heard, will discredit those with time put in so that they seem equal. We're in this constant battle for credibility. Promoting our image. Not because we want to, necessarily, but because that's the reality of our current social climate.
Shit is a circus, you clowns that are comin' up Don't give an ounce of a motherfuck About the ones that were here before you that made rap Let's recap, way back, MC's that wreak havoc on tape decks ADATs, where the G Raps and Kanes at? We need 3 Stacks ASAP and bring Masta Ace back |
