One time when I was a kid I didn't like a guy because he was deliberately standing in front of me so I couldn't see cuz I was being a goalkeeper even though I hated it but it was my turn so I got angry and tried to smash his face with a rock we were using as goalposts but he ran away and my brother was there too and he ran away with him and I ran after them both and they went into my house so I ran in after and punched the guy in the face and then my brother punched me and my grandparents were there because they were visiting and then the guy went home crying and I had to go apologize and he said it's ok and then we played his playstation and i dunno what my brother did.

I'll try to convey myself better. The grim, brutal, mercilessness of natural creatures and the environments that surround them.

The silent lethality of a spider in its web.

All of these are intimidating things, especially if you find yourself as an animal and an equal in these ecosystems. This might be abstract thought that's painstakingly under-researched but my instincts tell me that animals don't get the credit they deserve for how impressive they are at existing. Have you ever seen a cat playing with an injured mouse, or a monkey dragging another monkey into a cave to engage in cannibalism?
