big baby is not bb. bb is not Zombie. Zombie is not Pen Prick. Pen Prick is not Void. But Void is dull boy.

And Darth Yoda is all of us.

Red glare 04-29-2014 12:52 AM

hi.

@Certain

oats 04-29-2014 12:52 AM

so there's a book I want that recently came out, costs like 15-20 like a normal new book. then all of a sudden, I get an email from a charity that I "support" (have never given them money, but I sign their petitions and shit, and support the cause), and they're like hey donate $40 and we'll send you this book, which is the book I want. So I'm essentially buying the book for more than I need to, but putting my money where my mouth is in terms of my support for this NPO.

I'm torn, input would be appreciated.

Think of it this way

$20 towards your book (list price) + your (first) allotted donation of $20 toward your charity. It's a wash, but to the charity you look like a hero.

I don't think we've had the pleasure.

Good to meet you, Red glare.

$40 bro

I thought everyone in Hawaii had beach homes and Porsche Caymans

oats 04-29-2014 01:26 AM

I'm a teacher living in one of the most expensive states there is. but I can afford $40.

Certain 04-29-2014 01:54 AM

Native Hawaiians are poor alcoholics.
