Well it didn't turn into the flesh eating disease so I doubt they'd want to take my leg off, but new skin grows back an immediately dies/peels so idk ... I think they just want to find a place to maybe try and drain some of the fluid or see how deep some of the damage is/was and take it from their .. They might do an MRI of biopsy before they even consider anything

The cause was a MR child whom was trying to crush is larynx with his thumbs was intervened by yours truly and he started hugging my leg eventually digging his right fingernails into my left calf with a bowling ball type grip ... No blood at first but definite break of skin

3 days later I felt like I was getting a bad cold/flu temp was 101 ...that evening
I could barely move and my temp was 102.9 , wife wanted me to go to the hospital but she got me some DayQuil as a compromise ... The next morning my temp was 103.7 and she wanted to call 911 cause I was barely coherent but I told her if I took a cold bath I could break the fever so I layed in the bathtub and slept for 6 hours and she eventually called the hospital whom told her to get me to urgent care ( separate facilty associated with the hospital ASAP ) temp was 103.9 .. Got to urgent care whom said I had meningitis made me and my wife put on a masks and had an ambulance take me to the hospital when I got their I coughed up a little blood and they found I had strep as well .. Doctors were confused and they started taking blood cultures and wanted me to urinate and I couldn't, they were going to stick a big ass needle in my spine and right before I lost control of my bowels and my left leg became extremely hot at this point they thought I could be in septic show and started iv anitbotics and had my wife call the family because they didn't know if I'd make it ... All I really remember is coming to a few times and this priest holding my right hand praying for me, later he told me he stopped by every two hours and prayed I thought I was hallucinating but he was real ... Anyway when I finally like legitimately woke up about 60 hours after getting to the hospital I had 4 iv's in me at once and a diaper on and had to be told all this info I just told you also my left leg was about 4 times it's normal size and still extremely hot and at one point my white blood cell count was over 40,000, fever reached 104.5 at its peak and I was between 9 and 15% dehydrated and lost 29 lbs in 4 days ... They ran all kind of test on my organs because the antibiotics were given at such high rates they were scared some internal damage could of been done anyone I'm here and alive but 45 days later two cycles of very potent oral antibiotics and a normal white blood cell count finally back to normal ( 7,000 ) my leg is still swollen, skin is still peeling the dark redness is still in some spots and theirs still a ton of pain associated with cellulitis ... It wasn't till I left the hospital that I knew anything about sepsis and how severe it was ..

i had a spinal tap once.

They were prolly concerned w renal function w the antibiotics

I'm not on any anitbotics now ... Last one I took was Clindamycin

And yes we do check hygiene thoroughly but fingernails only get cut once every like 10 days because most of these kids can't be trusted with anything sharp ... Washing hands it a big deal but they can't have sanitizers because it had alcohol ( do you see a pattern here lol ? )

And the Streptococcus bacteria is known to grow under fingernails like crazy but this dude injected a ton and it got into my blood which is what made it travel so fast and fuck up crazy shit
