Certain vs. Rawn

Me and Certain have a similar style, insofar that I can see. He has a knack for wit and insight hidden among the rhymes he has to make for this site. One of my favorite reads. Rawn is a hack.

Innovator vs. Zenland

Dope, underrated battle. These two occupy the same spot in my mind; they are dope writers who don't have much of a name on the site. This is a weak and tired excuse, but Zen has been on hiatus and Innovator has been active. I'll take the hotter hand. But this will be a battle I look forward to reading and both writers deserve more recognition.

PancakeBrah vs. King Ra

He doesn't have the chops.

Frank vs. Mike Wrecka

This is with no show potential included. This is the single most difficult battle to call this week, for me. I think at their peaks Frank is the better writer but that's more of a compliment towards him than an insult to Mike. Frank is an alien when he's on his game. But Mike is the most consistent writer in these leagues. I'll take the odds here.

Adonis vs. Fig

Mild upset. I've never been blown away by Adonis, but for some reason he has a high reputation and an arrogance. Fig just posts utterly unique verses without regard for the zeitgest. He's an interesting read every time, whereas I view Adonis as the norm.

Mr.J vs. breathless

I don't know breathless. Mr.J is solid. I think he needs more personality and experimentation. But I'll take him here.

Just Write vs. Aesthetic

For being regulars I can't recall a verse or perception of either. I'm a touch more familiar with JW so, yeah.

Pinot Grij vs. Objective

I battled Objective in the WCL and he posted dope, and he can handle a trolling. But Pinot is in my top 5, he's a fucking beast, way back from the first NWL I participated in.

Scripter vs. Atheist

Coin flip. Not familiar.

dead man vs. patrown

I will pick Black every week until he doesn't show. It's that easy.

Vulgar vs. NYCSPITZ

BOTW. NYC can drop truly dope. Vulgar can drop truly dope. I respect both as writers. So I'll pick the one I haven't beat yet, because why not.
