dude rogen did stand up since he was fucking 13 or 15 years old.. jonah hill did stand up. they may collaberate but they write most of there own shit. writers write entrances and etc aswelll. aziz is a comedian, sarah silverman is a comedian, i mean most dont have to have writers

At the professional level, everything becomes a collaboration. They have to walk through some of their jokes just to make sure they aren't doing the same thing as someone else. This whole thing is rehearsed to a degree.

Yes, a lot of it is off the cuff. But more of it is edited. Really, there's no reason not to edit and go through your material with people who are paid to do that work.

jonah hill and seth rogen are clearly not stand up guys. i know rogen played one in the sandler movie.. but jesus. his hyuh hyuh hyuhs were almost as uncomfortable as hill's nervous rambling

and the fact he has co wrote the funniest movies of the decade pretty much sums up his ability
