the mayans invented it too, but by the time white people found them (and by found them i mean the remnants of their civilization) they already had the number 0 from the arabs.

the babylonians invented it, and somewhere down the line white people adopted it from them, i dont think babylon was still around but the mesopotamian region whether it was persians or medes or whatever i dunno.

but yea they each independently came up with it on their own. mexicans are smart yo wtf
