Dude last year at work (was working at a golf course then) there was a golden eagle just chillin with its head furled up backwards in its body, i thought it was fake at first and started to walk away but then threw a stick to check and it slowly unwinded its head and looked at me, I was literally in arms reach of the thing. I noticed it was injured later watching it move around so I called the wildlife reserve people and they picked it up, the thing died a few days later of nature causes, old age. One of the craziest fucking things ever, I wrote a verse on it instantly while it was still fresh in my head


Not sure what the size difference between golden eagles and bald eagles is but the talons on that motherfucker were scary as shit, and bright yellow. The thing was taller then my waste perched there injured so I'd imagine its wingspan was pretty fuckin huge too

And yeah eagles are cray. I've worked at a golf course for years. Saw a coyote ten ft from me on Thursday as well. Hawks are all over the place here. The eagles put them to shame. Usually eagles don't let you get close to them at all. Sucks that one died though.
