A no-show is a no-show regardless whether or not you claim to have a verse ready. In instances like these, send the verse over in advance. You sent me a PM, you could have included your verse in that one to show that you got one ready and it would have counted as proof that you wrote some. I wouldn't have posted it up unless your opponent showed as has been custom in 10-20 years of text forums. As it stands now it's impossible to tell if you made the deadline or not.

Imo, there is no such thing as a "wasted verse" when the topics given are as specified as here. It would be a wasted verse if you had one written and didn't post it up. It's not like you won't get cred/feedback on it. You're also supposed to be writing a new verse, not hold on to one and do slight adjustments to make it work with a different topic. That's shady at best.

As it stands now it's counted as an L. You're a vet in the game and known with the concept of sending a verse to whoever is running a league/battle/whatever. It's never going to be as easy as just saying "I'll take the NS-win". Sorry.

Make the forum now. Let's aim for setting everything up for Week 3 from Monday again. I'm currently having a runny nose and my head is aching. The thought of getting shit moving, closing/creating threads rn makes my head hurt. Not gonna lie, I'm making beyond terrible work on this shit atm. @Adverse did the amazing work of possible match ups too, I can forward it to you if you want. I can get down to it in the upcoming days and have shit like topics and perhaps some sort of a MAG ready for Monday. It's not realistic for me to make it work today and I don't want to make any more promises I may not be able to keep.

I wasn't geling with the pic so I decided not to post my verse or PM it as it was clear NY wasn't showing even after the EXT....I still posted nihht of, and that's completely within my right, ppl in any league for two decades have posted no show verses in the thread when applicable

Ye, apologize for that. I haven't been out of work for the past 3-4 years for no reason. This kind of bs follows me around in every aspect of life for the time being regardless how inspired and dedicated I am to make things work, unfortunately. Wish I could change shit around but I can't do much more than try and push myself every chance I can, not expecting someone like you to give it an ounce of understanding either. Mostly cus you strike me as an entitled stereotypical US dirtperson.

@Inno. I want to run it but I simply can't keep up with it even tho I thought I could when I started out. Insomnia and flu symptoms (no corona) on top of everything else has made me realize I can't follow through consistently every week. It'd have to be a bi-weekly thing with possibility of making auto-posting of threads happen, then I could make it work consistently over time. However, if a bi-weekly thing sounds like a good idea and y'all would want to give me a second chance to making that work with longer time for both voting and writing (but with the fear of motivation dropping for some) then we could go for that as well. I'd PROBABLY be able to make it work but I don't want to fuck shit up more than I already have.
