It’s retarded Eminem Stan’s tend know fuck all about hip hop |
His best line was the diddy pac shit..and thats not aimed at. Mgk
|
Quote:
But your question was who cares about a alternative rock groups fanbase opinions on a rap beef and the answer remains Eminem and mgk care very much because that's the majority of their record sales..... |
Quote:
It was aimed at mgk. And the best sequence was the bow n arrow...hold steel shit.... Eminem roasted mgk.... Mgk shit was way to politically correct.... |
Best lines
Bow and arrow scheme Billy goat..no biggie no jay..that iggy hoe The stan opening Diddy line |
|
Diode I knew it
|
Fun fact..eminem spouts endless anti gay rhetoric but dresses in drag every video
|
So em knew what he was doing been preaching about how a diss reaponse would make mgk bigger. So he puts an interview out claiming that its hes one reason he doesnt drop a diss. Then he drops a diss. Then people go from praising rap devil to booing its performance live on stage. Genius. Reverse paychology type shit. Em da god

Em’s classic rock and Hip Hop, but as an artist he clearly prefers rap lol Shit’s in his roots, tho. It’s all over all his albums. I feel like Eminem Show was his last real attempt at selling as much as possible from a content angle. Everything since has been a passion project. Not saying he’s not wanting to sell lol But I definitely think it’s much lower on the priority list. Dude is richer than I think he could have ever imagined. Em’s ‘street appeal’ peaked at ‘Til I Collapse |
Look st like this. Why is MGK touring with fall out boy?
Cuz it’s the same crowd listening to em. And yeah I doubt em gives a fuck about sales at this point in his career, it’s obvious he wants the respect from fans and his peers Tbh not to many besr 50 dudes rapping like em lol |

But through out his career I give Eminem props for walking that thin line between mainstream and still aknowledging his hip-hop roots |

Revival didn’t do great in sales but I don’t see him bitching about that at all, he’s more pissed people thought it was trash feel me |
Quote:
Understood...though Eminem has went on record a few times saying his tracklisting being prereleased hurt his sales n he will not make that mistake again....and i liked a lot of revival...thought. It showed a different more mature Eminem.... On a side note...am I the only one who thought recovery was awesome? |
Recovery was mature and full of content (Budden lol), but he (rightfully) caught flak for those terribly corny wordplays.

I think he just wants to rhyme. |

I spend more time thinking about the psychology of the human being Marshall Mathers than I should probably admit. He’s admitted he views writing rhymes as crossword puzzles. Anyone who’s written rhymes at a decent skill level for long enough knows what he means. I’m sure it’s a combination of escapism turned habitual and formed into a sense of self. He’s obsessive. A perfectionist. Something else that’s easy for a lot of writers to relate to. Writing is an isolating, self reflective task. I was watching that Comedians in Cars getting Coffee with Seinfeld and he was shooting the shit with John Oliver at a little cafe. They were talking about how their significant others took some time to understand that nothing they say is what they actually mean. Their brains have been wired to formulate thoughts that end in a laugh and whatever comes before the laugh has no concrete significance to them. I think rhyming is the same way. I’ve lamented in plenty of verses I’ve posted here about the process of writing. How it’s lost it’s magic because it almost comes down to a paint by numbers sort of deal once you’ve reached a certain point. I think Em had a major personality split when Proof died. Coinciding with his sobering up. I’ve read him say he had to relearn how to write. In the disenchantment of writing you lose some of the fluidity, I think. You become a sort of rhyming or writing machine, as opposed to a reactionary human laying out his thoughts. I think Recovery was indeed his post rehab album. Humbled. MMLP2 was littered with more traditional verses. I love that album, but I’m mostly a fan of dope rhymes so it makes sense. On Revival I really think he tried. It’s so dense with wordplay, references and top notch lyricism, but that kind of work has been passed over thousands of times. My Name Is was a gimmick. Marshall was genuine, but playing a role. I think you’re right to a degree. At this point he’s making the music he wants, but I also think he has a sharp focus on providing his fans and Hip Hop as a culture with good songs. I find guy endlessly fascinating, honestly. Would love to sit and just talk writing and shit with him. - Truly yours. |

He’s clearly a sadomasochist with deep insecurities. Songs about his relationships are solid evidence of that.
He’s a humble dude, I think. Introspective. A performer, though. Anyone see how Jim Carrey is lately? At a cursory glance you might think he’s gone insane, and by definition maybe he has a little, but they remind me of each other. You develop a skill out of necessity. You love it. Then you’re a slave to it. Jim is another dude I’d love to chat with. |
