i gave them just short of 30 years, thousands of dollars, and dealt with being a dallas fan in nj for most of my life. i obv didn't do enough. hahaha.

jerry did one thing right ever and fleeced the vikings in the pre-salary cap era. since then he has been nothing but a destructive force in the organization. nobody can coach under him. there is no gm. he makes all personnel decisions and installs defenses on a whim. he is a meddling narcissist because he did something right one time. problem is, there's no consequence or reality check coming. he will relinquish control when he's dead.. and then stephen takes over, who is very much in his father's mold.

tell me how this situation will improve in my lifetime? i am disgusted with the ownership. no ill will to the players (personally, i feel awful about romo wasting his peak years there) or other dallas fans, but i can't financially support a team that has no interest in success and doesn't really give a shit about the product on the field.

actually they were horrible when i first became a fan. aikman's first year was a 2 win season. again, after 15+ years, it is obvious this is an institutional problem. it isn't going away. and i've been right after all these lovely 8-8s since i moved on.
