So you associate video games and movies in the context they are perceived to be a root cause in mental health issues today?

So my kids play call of duty and that homosexual fortnight game - that means they are going to shoot shit up when they get older? If they continue to play it?

Maybe I should tell them they aren't allowed to play those games anymore - just RPG final fantasy faggot out of this world of war crafts imaginary games with warlocks and level 100 dragon characters. Those wont affect their mental health, will they?

Calling your opinion "evidence" in an attempt to create doubt in the target is gaslighting

He just lost his job of 16 years over it

Kids don’t play call of duty because they want to murder people, they play it because good marketing makes kids play it and compete with each other over it.

Kids that would seek out hard to obtain rape simulators are probably thinking about raping people.

Ok, fair.

Now - you mentioned he lost his job of 16 years over it.

Who's to say he didn't violate a policy regarding the type of shit he was doing which he knew before hand and thought nothing of it or thought no one would ever find out? NOT SAYING THIS IS THE CASE but maybe it was...

As an authoritative figure for a company at the "CEO" /Executive level - what would be the perception of him by employees and other executives for firms he associates himself with? What would be the perception of the company?

Not so much what he was doing - but more or so the primary focus being how he violated a policy?

If it’s not evidence enough he should stop putting his face to the community publicly than literally nothing is.

Only losers mold their opinions on social convenience.

I’ll argue my side til someone changes my mind. Lots of people aren’t able to do that because they let social media and the internet give them false bravado through anonymity and editing their arguments.

that sucks, i'm sorry.

The official reason they gave me was “A breach of trust and confidence” and “Conduct likely to bring the company into disrepute” because of me wearing the work uniform tie in a video.

All the stuff was watched/recorded/edited in my own time, out of work hours, and never on the work computer or anything like that.

This is exactly what I feel they’ve done though.

They’ve seen the clips from the movie reviews. A lot are so low budget trash there’s no way in hell would an idiot believe what they were seeing was real. They’re clearly effects. I even showed/explained how several of the effects were pulled off in the reviews.

Just because it has scenes of disembowment doesn’t mean anyone/anything was actually harmed. They’re movies.

sral 07-11-2018 05:25 PM

lmao in the midst of this Knucksanity I think we all missed the point that I OFFERED TO RUN SC THIS YEAR!

They have no reason to waste their time figuring it out. They aren’t your friends, they’re professionals that would have to justify not getting rid of you to other people that have no reason to figure it out either.

Using my logic behind how I operate isn’t really relevant to corporate/government workplaces, my attitude made me a bad fit for them.

What are you his lawyer? He got fired he’s not getting his job back and the company thinks he’s a weirdo. Now he’s moving onto different things. I like that you’re solution oriented but let the guy move on.
