That was a big part of my point Batty. There is no justice anymore.

Agendas trump everything.

bring on idiocracy. Bring on the book of revelations.

we have fallen as a rational and reasonable society. We are throughly corrupt.

Destroyer 11-25-2014 11:11 AM

we are less corrupt than we've ever been

IJS.

It was the first site that popped up with the video linked, I didn't even read the article tbh cause you know...video. I actually don't keep up with who the hipsters roll with now for reliable news tbh. I had a diehard democrat always telling me that politifact was the only website that could be trusted for 100% unbiased reporting. Then they got outed for being democratically biased, it always seemed to good to be true anyways.

I'd really like to know who you think is a reliable source these days?

Pretty much why I just stick with legit evidence like...I don't know...let's say maybe an actual video of the crime happening?

Does that seem fair tho?

Imma still wait for you to name drop on some trustworthy news sources tho, cause that could be nettertaining.

I don't believe that's true at all. I believe there's less opportunity for corruption due to technology, globalism, and social media presence. However, those that are corrupt have only gotten more secretive and secure.. and brazen as they are constantly vigilant in not being exposed.

Im puertorican i go for a cops gun and i doubt, i'll be white enough not to get shot.

This story is a sleeper. I feel for the family, some cops should only have tazers. Or be given blanks. Ppl are human which doesn't always translate to humane.

as someone who has family in law enforcement and in the army. I may look at things from a different social level.

Well, just look at the 200 years of American History
We had slaves for fucks sake, women couldn't vote, there were no weekends, there were no employee rights laws, there have been countless advancements in medicine and technology made, tying the entire world together and allowing conversations like this one, to happen. All of this leads to a more open and understanding world. In the past, the protesters would have just been shot, now they can openly protest, right or not.
We have freedom of religion, unlike in the past where if you didn't believe, you were killed or tortured. All of these things occur in minuscule numbers today compared to the past. We are just aware of them all immediately because of the globalization of media. This leads to a false sense of living in a scary, evil world, when the reality is quite the opposite.

Destroyer 11-25-2014 11:21 AM

I mean, you all know that racism was created by man, right?
it's not a natural inclination
it was carefully crafted and thrust upon people that were up until then, quite happy to mingle

veritas 11-25-2014 11:21 AM

The corruption here is the perversion of justice to appease the pressure from groups with agendas that could care less about justice.

fact.

and/or perspective.

don't agree with tazers and blanks, tho. cops are originally assigned 9mm for a reason. the guns aren't designed to kill but to wound. or you would see cops rocking 50 cal pistols.

you're all stuck in the matrix

uh-oh 11-25-2014 11:24 AM

there is no white enough. if anyone g9es for a cops gun they will be shot

also wilson didnt carry a taser. he had an asp mase and his pistol. all he could feasibly go for to protect himself was the pistol

due to what ive seen and heard you cant indict the man

but the society and culture we live in creates mike browns. and to act like he was a savage animal and not human is idiotic when you just brush off what leads men into those mindsets in the first place

There is no trial. A grand jury decides whether to indict (press charges) "for" the prosecutor (DA, typically) who has decided to defer to them in making that decision. There is no judge, trial, etc. This result is no different than a prosecutor choosing not to file any charges against a potential criminal. Not assumption of guilt or innocence - simply a decision that the evidence has not proven any laws were broken.

Nobody can go after the members of the grand jury as that is sealed permanently and cannot be released by anyone.

There is a separate, federal investigation that could result in charges.

But, just to prove I'm willing to play along: I'm not so sure that you actually know how the process works. Did you not know that throughout the process, several judges have been involved?

Let me just throw down a quick example for you:
http://www.cnn.com/2014/09/16/justic...on-grand-jury/

Again, if CNN doesn't cater to your preferred take on the truth, just Google: St. Louis County Judge Carolyn Whittington

or any of the other judges names who have been involved in the process.

But again, it goes back to my point... which is much more simplistic in nature...

Just because I don't want the actual point to be missed by anyone else...

Perpetuating a stereotype can never change peoples perceptions.

There are dozens of ways to actually make an impact on this situation but getting free weave and hdtvs ends up as the solution. I'm calling it what it is, greed tbh.

Cops target black youths because most of the time they are the ones committing the crimes, there's no disputing that. So how is going out and committing crimes going to change that perception? How is destroying your community going to prove you are a vital and contributing part of your community? lolololol

The family was right, police should all wear recording devices at all times.

no real fact as to mike brown going for the cops gun. that's all accusations made by the officer obviously trying to justify his actions.

if there is any type of footage showing mike brown attacking the officer and "going for his weapon" i'd like to see it.

E Tha Real 11-25-2014 11:29 AM

I said everything i wrote for a reason.

it's true

if you research the concept of the 9mm. you will find the 9mm wasn't designed to kill, all thou it can kill depending on where shot of course.

i mean there are even co2 pellet guns that could kill lol.

but the point is, the gun by design was created to wound rather then kill. the bullet on entry is supposed to echo, neutralizing its target.

The corruption is also people saying the good are bad and the bad are good.
