Well, the neighbor was BBQing too, just one of them days. I offered him some meat and he did the same. He's straight mexican mind you. GAve me a chili too, I eat mad spicey food right? Anyways. I cooked that bitch on the grill and took a little bite.

For about 15 minutes I was in tears, I don't know what that asshole gave me but safe to say, I'll be the asshole in pain later. I didn't even get to eat the damn food cause I filled up on milk and bread trying to cut the spice.

Would anyone be interested in a comedy week? Topics would be based on photos and/or quotes but verses must be comedic in some way shape or form... would be kind of a breath of fresh air.

I don't like the idea of forcing people to approach a topic in a specific style. Couldn't the topics be themed on comedy somehow, with everyone free to interpret as they want?

Comedy week would be weir. Although I love to challenge myself and I'd like to think i can write about anything on any topic, being forced to be humorous just sounds weird to me.

Being a bit of an aficionado I've formed some clear preferences on what I think are good topics. Certain does it best, you have a big theme that connects all the weekly topics and then each individual match-up is a slight variation on that big theme. (E.g., The dead presidents week - had all the different quotes. The graffiti week produced a lot of surprisingly varied and excellent submissions as well. Even MikeWrecka's infamous 'colored square' week was alright in that sense!) With this method of stimulus allocation you give an option for the writer to focus in on their individual topic or to expand more onto the larger theme.

Also, specifically for picture topics. I'm sure it can be great fun to grab all these fantasy-like pictures from whatever art-school emo with autism and suicidal tendencies deviant-art page you can find, but consider using more normal pictures perhaps? Even if it's just as a change of pace. I mean when you have a picture of a unicorn ridden by some knight atop a castle with a rainbow skull for a face, it kind of limits your options in a way. It's easier to write fantasy stuff if you want to about a normal picture, but it's pretty difficult to write normal stuff about a fantasy picture.

I think it's impossible to pick a favorite song. 'Gimme Shelter' is usually my default if asked. Usually gives the person asking a frame of reference of some sort.
