you have certainly achieved this rep Certain

when we talk about the second video, we're talking about the one the store owner took correct? i seen cake mention surveillance footage earlier but i haven't seen that, think it was referring to this.
you can't see what his right hand is doing, stop it. im not saying it was doing something worthy of shots to the chest, but i feel you guys are letting your emotions cloud your judgements. certains talking about him shaking i don't see that either, he's not being tazed while they are on him, they would effectively be tazing themselves because they are on him. electricity 101 guys. he is struggling, and again you dont see his right hand, after the shots when they are off him they immediately go in his right pocket, i don't see them pull out a gun, but the store owner also reiterated he had a gun. all i'm saying is there is no video evidence of him not reaching into his pockets with his right hand, we can't see his right hand, we don't know what it was doing. try and remove your emotions from your arguments we all know if anything i'd be on sterlings side as people like bags like to point out i'm a white black loving "uncle tom". i have no real love for cops. i just happen to be somewhat of an emotionless sociopath if its people i don't know and haven't met. i can look at it like its not real life and remove myself and my feelings from it and try and look at it like that. if there is footage i havent seen i'd be interested in seeing it. and again i'm not saying the police were in the right to open up on him, but please don't claim you see him not reaching when you literally cannot see if he is reaching or not. |
There is 2 videos of the Sterling incident.
1 - where you can see everything, until shots are fired and the phone is kind of tucked, due to the person recording probably ducked when the shots were fired and the - 2nd video behind the car - he was slammed on the ground and again, the video cuts out a split second before the shooting because the person moved and tucked immediately after the shots were fired. |

i just watched it again, you see his left arm pinned, his right arm is being wrestled with and you can't see his hand, he's very clearly moving that arm, but what he's doing hand wise is out of the picture, shots ring, when the camera gets back on them, he's bloody, and a cop goes in his pocket and grabs something, i can't tell from the vid but it could be a little pistol like its been reported. thats what i can see. maybe with your superior vision and intellect you see him putting his hands behind his back and them pulling a comb out of his pocket. |
The old "but what's his right hand doing, huh?!" Well, there are two dudes on top of him, tasering him with a gun in his face, his left hand is underneath a knee and it's cocked upwards in a clear motion of surrender, his back is flat and hips are not moving - but sure, we can't see his right hand so maybe he was reaching for his gun. Ok.
The mental gymnastics required to justify this cop behavior are incredible. Just count the seconds between "move and I swear to god I'll shoot!" and them actually shooting him. And remember all the details above. It's plain as day unless you think he's the craftiest, most sinister person alive. Anyway, face punch time. |
Quote:
2, i've said i'm not justifying the cops behavior i'm simply pointing out that people are ignoring the fact that the guy could be reaching into his pockets with his right hand. alot of you guys are throwing that out the window like its an impossibility. thats literally all i'm saying, we can't see it, but yet i get responses like "your blind" yall got magical sight that allows you to see through things i guess. |
Have you seen someone be tasered, @uh-oh? I have, once. The guy did not stop twitching for at least a couple minutes after they had stopped.
|
@uh-oh
you disgust me either the best troll to date or your brain is just a worthless puddle of noodles |
Lol.

NEVER KNEW U WERE LIKE TIHS....................NOT LKE UR IDIOCIY AND TRUMPONIAN RHETORIC ISNT RECORDED HERE AT EVERY EFFORT AND CHECKPOINT..BUT WOW U REALLY THINK THER WAS JSUTIFICATION IN THAT?!?! HOW?!?! HOW COULD U THINK THAT?!!!!!!!!!!!?! *uh oh earlier this month/week/year* BUYING A THREE THOUSAND DOLLAR GUN WITH MY INCOME TAX MONEY AND NOT PAYING RENT TIHS MONTH lmqo! wow |
Uh-Oh is not dumb at all, he questions things, and I respect that about him...I think he reaches the wrong conclusion at times, but tbh a lot of that comes from living a different life, forming a different outlook on the world.
I'm disappointed at how America deals with these issues, I see America as the greatest country in the world, but when it comes to social issues, you guys are so frustrating. A bastion of liberty should not even be having these discussions. For one, the failure to deal with this issue as a systemic problem is embarassing, instead, you like to argue the little details, when really you should be looking at the numbers and figuring out what the hell you can do to lower them, and do it by any means. |

My pops just kinda pissed me off about this shit. Took a post with two pics associated with each other about a racial situation of a white man holding a sign and the other showing a woman sign talking about him and his sign. He separated them to only share one picture of the man with the sign. I addressed Him respectfully about but I really feel like being very disrespectful to the nigga right now

take @Junto for instance. i apparently disgust him. what disgusts you junto? the fact i'm not justifying the cops use of lethal force because i can't tell if it was needed? or the fact you adamantly KNOW it was unnecessary force without being able to tell if it was needed? i'm sorry for not taking a hardline stance on something when all of the facts aren't presented. |
The thing is @uh-oh is that "pointing that out as a possibility" is justifying their actions, even if that's not your intention. And yes there is a blind spot on the video, but the surrounding information we have pretty much rules it out as a possibility. In order to reach for his gun and fire in that position he:
-would have had to be completely unaffected by the taser or the intensity of having two dudes on top of him with a gun in his face -have explosive hips to extend his arm like that with two other men on top of him -And be able to sell surrender with one side of his body while simultaneously acting a completely different way with the other side of his body. For emphasis' sake, I'll remind you: two dudes are on top of him with a gun in his face. Try this: get tackled, tasered, have two men on top of you with a gun in your face and in a split second rub your stomach and pat your head with perfect execution. Throw the video of it up on YouTube and I'll take your point seriously. Until then, that kind of argument defies all logic and provides a ridiculous rationalization of their behavior, regardless of whether or not that's your intention. |
Quote:
look at it from the cops point of view, if you and another man have tackled, tasered and wrestled this man to the point of both of you on top of him, and you lose control of his free hand that is going towards the pocket where you know he has a gun. should you further endanger yourself and others, and keep wrestling him? or does your police training kick in and you neutralize the threat? literally all i'm saying is taking a stance one way or another is ridiculous, i can see both viewpoints, you and others refuse to. to the point that i have to spell out the other viewpoint, to the point where it seems like that is my sole viewpoint lol. either way now i just keep arguing the same points so there is no point to this. my buzz is kicking in and the main cards starting soon. i'm over this futile debate. |
Again tho, you guys are talking about this on an individual basis...this is not the correct conversation.

Whoa, let me read a couple pages.
|
Nah @uh-oh it's not that I'm refusing to hear that argument, it's that I've heard it, considered it, and found it without merit. You're doing the "I'm just saying" dance when the video makes it evident that the "right hand reaching" theory is ridiculous.
I agree with @Witty that this is the wrong conversation, but that's what happens - Instead of looking at the big picture of police brutality against minorities, every time one is caught on tape there are those who try to discredit it or make it enough of a wash to give it some justification. And those are ironically the same people who say that "good Muslims have to decry the terrorists!" Yet how many good cops are speaking out about the bad ones? Whatever, we see it differently. This has been a dope fight card. |
What make it so bad is i was gonna give the police a break on alton for the simple fact they were responding to a call about a man with a gun so they were already coming in hot. Philando on the other hand was too much, that was blatant racism. Not ku klux klan white power racism but he black so i already dont trust him racism.
White people been fucking up with everyone lately. Whats that about. |
Lol at whites fn up with everyone lately. How is that diff than blacks?
I mean since we are complete generalizing here right? |
Yeah bro i am generalizing since in each incident a white persons actions have led people to basically martyring themselves in retaliation. Bush got us into a decade long war with various terror factions, trump saying fuck mexicans, and white police still shooting black men in cold blood all these years later.
So i ask you white man, who is the instigator. |

the main thing in all this, and what i found the least vomit worthy among the memes passed around and most poignant, was the "hey cops how does it feel to be profiled/judged on the whole by the actions of a few" ones. because in essence thats what this is. there are something like 750,000 police officers, i don't know if that includes sheriffs and other branches or if thats just city police. but they all get the hate in these instances and they all get the criticism from some ignorant people in our society, while the 40 million or so black people get hate for the bad apples in there society by the ignorant as well. its just human nature i guess. |
Quote:
smh, thats not why black people get hate... thats just the excuse racists give... Not saying youre racist but that part was pretty ignorant... Bye... |
When newt gingrich comes out and says white people don't understand the discrimination blacks face and how it affects their overall safety and well-being, you have to admit there is a problem.
I was a fan of obama for the most part, but i dont like that he hasn't pointed out the issue of cops killing innocents. This isnt a new thing, everybody just has cameras now. |
My issue with this stuff is that groups like BLM automatically jump to the conclusion of "guilty" on these police shootings even before evidence has been released. Obama pretty much does the same thing, and when he's wrong, like with Darren Wilson in that Michael Brown shooting, he doesn't apologize.
It's pretty obvious that racism does exist in police forces on some level, but assuming all cops are racist, or that every instance of a police shooting is racism, ends up damaging the credibility of BLM supporters. |
The number of questionable shootings is too high someone needs to be held accountable. Obama didnt pull the trigger who should we be angry at?
|
Quote:
Nah, not everyone jumps to conclusions... Every time I hear a story about the police shooting a black person after he points a gun at them, I think "Well, hes stupid for pointing a gun at them"... My friend got killed by the police 6 years ago... He had a gun on him... The police say allegedly he pointed it at them... I knew him and I dont think he did it but theres no footage/witnesses to prove it... But these dudes are get slaughtered on camera while theyre unarmed... thats a problem... Even if they have a gun on them, it doesnt mean that they have to be killed... Black dudes are not walking around with the quick draw perk from call of duty... Philando Castile got shot while he was sitting in a car... No gun in his hand... Do you really think he intended to use it on a cop?... Bye... |
Lol @ being wrong about wilson
|
Soooo.......all white cops are racist?
Sooooo........all white people are racist? Sooo......are black people never racist? These are the generalizations we are going with right guys? |
All people have racial biases. Those racial biases become more dangerous in the hands of government-empowered killers.
|
Soooo.....we should not have a military?
|
Of course ultimately no one should
