So now I got figure out how to check this nigga without making it hard for my step daughter to see her father. One problem after another.

Does it matter? I know it's a pride thing and I can't say I'd react much differently but if she's turning him down you have nothing to worry about.

Confronting him will only make things more complicated for your step daughter...I understand wanting to warn him off tho, any man would...but you gotta put the child first my man.

This thread is why I'm not married. I can't trust anybody.

I have only trusted one girl, it's pretty cool to feel like you have someone who has your back no matter what, but it is very unrealistic...the only person you can trust is you.

Most people are disloyal by force of habit...we are a selfish species.

All of this is true.

From my experience the closer I've gotten to a person the further we drifted apart. All of the little things we did just started to annoy the other person to death.

I'll get married when I'm thirty. That's the perfect time, I think.

It's less about trust and more about expectation. You may be stoic, and she likes that, but she may also like something more comforting and understanding. Denial of desire, or suppression, leads to resentment towards what's perceived as what's causing the suppression, or fixation for what's desired. Denial is a powerful aphrodisiac, and the grass is always greener philosophy, along with forbidden fruit and a growing consensus that we owe it to ourselves to indulge... it makes it hard to meet the expectations of a traditional relationship. I've been with girls who wanted me to play a role, which is what most people want. Some idealized version of what they think they need. What you have to find is someone who you can connect with, so that the expectations are closely related and well understood. That's how trust builds, I think. @Zen

Why do we have to keep meeting like this?

I don't actually want to fight you, mustachio. Beardichio and mustachio can be allies. Don't be Kobe.

Witty 08-13-2014 05:12 PM

I don't understand why there's a problem with asking a mod to close a thread tbh, unless it's a blatant troll, isn't that part and parcel of what comes with running a site?

I love you tho namix.

namix 08-13-2014 05:30 PM

why should topics ever be closed in a discussion forum

unless it's like violating laws or some shit
