That is just.. wow.

As for a niche player coming out with a track worthy sedan that can also offer modern conveniences.. I dunno man. A sedan ain't coming from the companies you listed though.

Le Sigh.

I didn't mean a sedan, just a company willing to commit to an (almost) pure mechanical bond between man and driving machine.

I've always been a believer in the sub-$25K RWD performance segment coming back to life... the recent success of the Camaro, Challenger, BR-Z/ FR-S, Mustang etc. keep my hope alive that automotive companies won't forget the "fun" aspect of seemingly imperfect cars. Progress for the sake of progress will kill the human race brah

fuck FWD

Good luck drifting or track racing..

Assuming you can't afford a GT-R or street legal race car, that is. That's a safe assumption.

What is it like in fantasyland? Neither of those were ever affordable. Closest you came was an SR-20 swap to make a Silvia out of a 240SX.. maybe a Mk1 or 2 Supra. But you are young enough to only think of Mk3 when the name Supra comes to mind..

Pick up a MkII MR-2. Such a fun car. Shame what Toyota did to that car.

neither of those were ever affordable in the USA. The FR-S is certainly a lot more affordable than it would have been if it was a straight up reimaging of a preexisting JDM car. Japanese automakers have some interest in designing and producing performance cars explicitly for American consumption, not just offering them as a sidedish luxury

MR-2's blow.

you are wrong. show me a stock, forced induction mid-engine car with an almost perfect 50/50 ratio and an autox worthy suspension out of the box that was available from anyone else in automotive history.

show your work.
