No, because the general consensus is he is the best writer on the site, a site he has frequently posted pieces on for a long period of time that have been of a higher quality than pretty much anybody else. If we all KNOW he is the best, it makes no sense to not recognize him as such.

Pent uP seems to really enjoy being the only non-battler in the Hall of Fame. Even Vulgar would be relying in part on his battling prowess if he makes it.

PancakeBrah has articulated it better than I could. dead man is the heart of the Open Mic section and has several measurable Hall of Fame variables.

I think we should put this on the line: If dead man, Vulgar or Frank wins The Winter Topical, they will enter the Hall of Fame. If none do, we will evaluate their resumes independently.

First of all, I'm nearly sure Certain has not posted on NC for even close to the length of time that black has, Certain is a great writer and in the future I could well nominate him too, based just on his talent, if he stays active and regularly posts HOF pieces, but as I said, black has been recognized HERE as the best of the best, he has been active, I don't know where you get the idea that he hasn't been, and nobody but a few are touching him in terms of talent and ability as a writer. I think it's a good idea for our HOF to be a place for the best writers, not just the ppl who won the most battles...battle are subject to bias too, btw.

When? None of his recent verses have been topicals. Maybe he used to do that, but lately he simply hasn't written many topicals.

I came to netcees late, a little over one year ago. Whether or not he recycles verses, black has been the topical representative on this site, no matter its url. I don't particularly care if every one of his verses posted are recycled. If he was a majority recycler there are enough old topical heads here that he'd be called on it. He's the bedrock, him and Vulgar. You don't not at least read his drops in the forum. Pent's persona on this forum is based on superiority and him sweeping in to talk shit about black reaks of professional protection. There's not a single user on this site, in the year plus I've been here, who thinks Pent is more prominent than black. Even if black is reposting shit, which isn't confirmed, he's motivating writers. For my time here, there's no question black is a HOF'er, for whatever it's worth. Stan'ing hard.
